Shadows of Silence

In shadows of silence, where darkness prevails,
The horror of sexual offense, a nightmare that assails.
Lives are torn asunder, innocence betrayed,
In the wake of such violence, hope begins to fade.

Rape is a thief, it steals without remorse,
Leaving scars on the spirit, altering the course.
A body violated, a heart left in despair,
With every whispered secret, the burden we bear.

We speak of sexual offense, we raise our voice high,
To honor the stories that linger and cry.
No more will we stand by, no more will we wait,
For justice and healing, we shall advocate.

The fight against silence, the power of truth,
Together we'll challenge, protect our youth.
In unity, we gather, our strength intertwined,
For every survivor, their courage defined.

Let's shatter the stigma, let's bring it to light,
For sexual offense and rape must end in the night.
With love and with action, we'll forge a new way,
Creating a future where all can feel safe each day.
