My eyes opened, and I noticed that I was on a bed in the nurses office. She told me that happened and that my friends were outside waiting.
I quickly got up and went outside to see the guys pacing all over with worried expression all over their faces.
What caught my attention was the individual leaning all so casually in the corner.
As if sensing my presence, he turned to look at me and our eyes connected.
I ran towards him, jumping into his arms "Gabe " tearing flowing down my face.
He held me until I settled down. When I was all settled, he let me down but kept me close enough to him.
I leaned my head into his chest, taking in his scent. " I've missed you so very much."
I was so lost in Gabe that I didn't realize that someone was standing in front of us until gabe motioned for me to look in front. There stood Storm looking pissed off.

Storm:
I watched as she came out of the nurses office. I started walking towards her, she didn't even notice me. She ran right past me into that guys arms whose name I heard her say is Gabe.I kept wondering who he is and watching their interactions. It was as though he's the love of her life, and that made me so furious. Just thinking about it.
I won't know if I keep standing h, re so I made my way over. She still didn't notice me until he signaled her.
**********************************The guys gathered around Gabe and me. Gabe pulled me even closer to him. That act caused Storm to clinch his fist.
Storm:
Who are you?Gabe:
How does that concern you.Storm:
concernsern me because that's my girl your holding onto.Gabe:
With raised eyebrows, you seem to be under a very big misunderstand, Sir.Storm:
I'll ask again, who are you?Gabe’s calm demeanor only seemed to fuel Storm’s anger. I could feel the tension in the air thickening as the other guys shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how to intervene.
I stepped back slightly, still holding onto Gabe’s arm, torn between wanting to diffuse the situation and the overwhelming urge to defend Gabe. “Storm, wait—”
Storm cut me off, his voice low and dangerous. “No, you don’t get to play peacemaker here. This guy just waltzes in and acts like he owns you. I need to know who he is.”
Gabe’s expression turned serious, and he took a step forward, his posture shifting to one of confidence. “I’m Gabe. I’m a friend of hers. We’ve been through a lot together, and I’m not going anywhere.”
Storm’s jaw clenched, and I could see the conflict raging inside him. “Friend? Is that what you call it? Because from where I’m standing, it looks like you’re more than just a friend.”
I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks, caught in the crossfire of their confrontation. “Storm, please. This isn’t the time for this. I just woke up, and I—”
“That’s right,” Storm interrupted, his voice rising slightly. “You just woke up. You don’t know what’s been going on while you were out. You’ve been through something serious, and I’ve been here for you. Not him.”
Gabe’s eyes narrowed, and he stood his ground. “You can’t claim ownership over her, Storm. She’s not a possession. She gets to choose who she wants to be around.”
I could see the hurt in Storm’s eyes, and my heart ached for him. “I appreciate you being here for me, Storm, but I need to figure things out for myself. I can’t just ignore how I feel.”
Storm’s expression softened for a moment, and I could see the vulnerability beneath his bravado. “I just don’t want to lose you. You mean so much to me.”
I took a step closer to him, feeling the weight of his words. “You won’t lose me, but I need space to breathe and think. I can’t do that if you’re always fighting with Gabe.”
Gabe glanced at me, a flicker of understanding passing between us. He took a deep breath and turned back to Storm. “Look, I understand you care about her, but right now, she needs support, not jealousy. Let’s focus on that.”
Storm hesitated, his eyes darting between me and Gabe. “Fine. But I’m watching you, Gabe. I won’t let you hurt her.”
I sighed, feeling the tension begin to ease, but I knew this wasn’t over. “Thank you, Storm. Let’s just talk and figure this out together.”
The guys around us shifted, sensing the atmosphere was changing. I could feel Gabe’s warmth beside me, a reminder that I wasn’t alone in this moment.
As we began to walk away from the confrontation, I glanced back at Storm. “I still care about you, but I need to understand what I want right now. Can you give me that?”
He nodded slowly, the anger dissipating, replaced by a look of resigned acceptance. “Yeah, I can do that. Just… don’t take too long.”
With that, we moved towards the edge of the school yard, the sun setting in the distance. I could feel the weight of the world on my shoulders, but with Gabe by my side and Storm reluctantly stepping back, I knew I had the space I needed to figure things out.
