~No One's Pov ~

The city was still wrapped in the silence of early morning, with the streetlights casting long shadows on the sidewalks.

Trafalgar Law, tall and handsome but with a distant and unsociable air, walked calmly among the buildings.

He had recently moved to this city, and as always, he preferred to observe everything from a distance, without getting too involved with people.

All of a sudden, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the air. Law looked up, just in time to see a boy, who looked around fifteen years old to him, sprinting toward him at full speed.

He looked like a high schooler based on his build, with a relaxed expression and even a hint of a smile, almost as if he were playing.

But his eyes, which kept glancing over his shoulder, betrayed a sense of danger: a gang was chasing him, and their footsteps could be heard in the distance.

Before Law could move out of the way, the boy collided with him, knocking him over.

Law lost his balance and ended up on the ground.

"What the hell...?" Law burst out, rubbing his sore elbow.

"Are you stupid or what? Didn't you see there was someone on the street? Don't you know you're not supposed to run around like that? Damn it!"

The boy quickly regained his footing and looked at Law with a mix of embarrassment and urgency.

"Uh, I'm really sorry, man!" he said, with a somewhat guilty smile.

Without waiting for a response, he immediately took off running again, leaving Law on the ground, confused and annoyed.

Law watched him go for a few moments, reflecting on the bizarre encounter. "Welcome to the city," he murmured to himself with a faint ironic smile, as the sound of the boy's footsteps faded into the distance.

"Damn, that kid really hurt me," he muttered.

Law got up and headed toward the car he had parked, still annoyed by the unexpected encounter.

He got into the vehicle and started the engine, grimacing in frustration as he began to drive home, trying to shake off the irritation and reflecting on how strange that afternoon had been.
