The carriage is more than triple the size of my room, and somehow way larger than the carriage on the outside. One size of the room has twelve beds, with two rows, six beds in each. On the other side is a large wooden table and a small next to a closet with its door open. Inside it, it is about the size of a large closet. It is full of shelves stocked with foods. I don't understand why there are foods like cheese and milk as they will go bad quickly, and even things such as bread will go quickly soon, and the fruits and vegetables will rot.

On the other side of the table is a large fire place surrounded by arm chairs and cushions on the red rug under them. It looks cozy.

Suddenly, I jump as I hear a voice behind me.

"Move."

I look at the speaker. Its a girl with hair cut just below her shoulders that use a shade between black and brown. She is holding a large bow in her hands, but what really surprises me is her clothes. She is wearing trousers, something I have never seen a girl wear. They are a leather like material, and she is wearing a red shirt, much simpler than anything I have ever seen anyone wear. She is glaring at me. I realize she is waiting for me to move, and I quickly move out of the way. She moves to a bed in the corner, placing her bow down along with a small trunk.

I would have expected her to be as surprised as I was about the inside of the carriage, but she doesn't seem to be in any aw.

Remembering my manners, I give her a slight smile. "Hello. My name is Ciarra. What's yours?"

She raises her eyebrows, but gives me a response. "Ash."

"Where are you from?" I ask, trying to make small talk, though intimidated by her.

"Korf."

That explains it. The odd clothes and manner, the bow. Korf is notorious for its warriors and it's people not being quite the same as us. Women there are are taught the same things as men, and wear the same clothes and are treated the same, which I suppose is a good thing. Most of the villages are kept separate, so I have never met anyone from there, plus they're very far southwest of us, so traveling would take a long time.

She seems to notice the uncomfortable silence and asks "You?"

"I am from torenia."

She snorts.

"What?"

"Nothing." She says. "It doesn't matter."

"But-"

She cuts me off. "I said it doesn't matter. Now, lets go meet the others, shall we?" She gives a tight smile.

I nod, embarrassed. She walks towards the door, but it swings open. In walks a girl with a long blue dress, covered in lace and little silver flowers. Her golden hair is done up in a fancy way, a large bun with a braid around it. Jer skin is pale, and her cheeks are rosy. She looks disgusted.

"No." She says. "I simply refuse to stay in this thing for any longer." She turns around to leave, bit a man stops her. He looks similar to her, with his blonde hair, and similar face shape.

"Please. We have no choice. I don't want to do this to you, bit I must."

She pouts, and he puts his hand on her shoulder." Lucinda darling, please."

I assume that he is her father.

She sighs, relenting. The man smiles, and waves his hand to something out the door. Two men come in, probably servants, holding large golden trunks. Tue man gestures vaugley to them, and they place them down on they bed next to mine before walking out.

The man looks at his watch. "I really must go now, but I love you." He kisses her head before rushing out. She looks annoyed, but gathers herself and turns to me and Ash.

"I am Lucinda wellers. Daughter of lord Wellers. Who might you be?"

My eyes widen. Lord wellers is probably the richest person in all the villages. That explains her outfit and servants.

I hold out my hand. "Ciarra."

She wrinkles her nose at it, and I quickly pull back. Ash nods at her and says"I'm Ash. Surprised you made the trip. Thought you'd be to dainty to come. Might get a speck of dirt on your dress. We wouldn't want that, now would we?

Ash has a mischievous look on her face, and Lucinda looks ready to punch her.

"Its you again. Oh, how I hate you."

I feel like there's some drama I don't know about.

Ash grins. "Yup. But, that's alright, I hate you more." Suddenly, ash lunges at her. Lucinda shrieks, as Ash beats her, blood dripping down, staining the dress, ripping the lace, and ruining her perfect hair.

Lucinda continues screaming, and I stand there dumbfounded, not sure what to do. All of a sudden, someone's pulling Ash of. I look at the person, and almost scream.
