As Minho walked back to his dorm, he felt a newfound energy coursing through him. His time with Seungmin had left him in high spirits, and he couldn’t stop himself from smiling. The little moments they’d shared—the lingering glances, Seungmin’s shy smiles, and his soft, honest words—played over and over in his mind.

Reaching his dorm, Minho flopped onto his bed, pulling out his phone with a grin. He found Chan’s contact and immediately started typing, eager to share his thoughts. Chan was the one friend he’d trusted enough to confide in about his growing feelings for Seungmin. While Minho was usually confident, there was something about this whole situation that made him feel like he was navigating uncharted territory.

Minho: Yo, guess what? Just walked Seungmin to his dorm. Pretty sure we had a whole moment.

After a few seconds, his phone lit up with a reply.

Chan: Finally! Tell me everything!

Minho chuckled, leaning back on his bed as he started typing out the details.

Minho: It was… really nice. He seemed nervous at first, but then he relaxed, and we actually talked. He’s so sincere, it’s refreshing. And get this—he said he liked spending time with me. Straight up.

Chan: Mate, that’s a big deal. So, did you make a move? Or was this more of a warm-up?

Minho: Warm-up, maybe. Didn’t want to push too much. But it felt… right. Like there’s something there, y’know?

Chan: Sounds like he’s feeling it too. Just take it slow, don’t rush it. He might be shy, but you’ll get him out of his shell.

Minho read Chan’s reply and smiled. The older always had a way of grounding him and giving him just the advice he needed. Seungmin was shy, true, but there was something about the way he looked at Minho that made him feel… hopeful. He felt like he was seeing a different side of the younger, a side that was just waiting to be uncovered.

Minho: Yeah, slow sounds good. Thanks, Chan-ah. I think I really like him.

Chan: You’ve got this. Just keep being yourself, and let him come to you in his own time. I’m rooting for you two.

He felt a surge of confidence after reading Chan’s message. Maybe this was something real. With a grin, he pocketed his phone, his mind already wandering back to thoughts of Seungmin. He’d wait, take things slow, and see where this journey would lead them.

After finishing his conversation with Chan, Minho decided to scroll through his Instagram feed. He smiled as he saw random snapshots from friends, classmates, and dancers he admired, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Seungmin. Before he realized it, he was scrolling through his own gallery, looking at a few candid pictures he’d taken over the past few weeks. Among them was a photo he’d took earlier in the day—a shot of a peaceful, tree-lined path on campus. Something about it felt right.

He decided to post it, writing a caption that subtly hinted at his current mood, but without giving too much away.

Minho selected the photo, added a gentle filter to enhance the sunlight filtering through the trees, and wrote the caption, and hit post.
