"I don't care if the audition list is full! Make room for her," I said into the phone. I was in the middle of a call with Jolie Green's assistant, who refused to add my client to the audition list.
"You should have gotten her a spot earlier, Mr. Matthews. Their is nothing we can do for you, now have a nice day." He said with the irritation in his voice evident.
"Let me speak to Jolie then. I'm sure she could help," I said calmly masking my own irritable feelings.
I heard him huff over the phone before he said, "Jolie is in a meeting, you'll have to call back later."
Before I could reply, he hung up.
How rude!
My phone lit up with a text just as I was about to turn to get Olivia for lunch.
Anya: Did you get me a spot???
Me: Not yet, but I'm getting there.
I silenced my phone so I could focus on my sister and help her finish unpacking her things.
I knocked on the door with the number 129 on it and waited for Olivia to open the door. Except it wasn't her who opened it. Instead her roommate, Taylor, opened it
Taylor, the girl I caught looking at me while Olivia droned on with a million Broadway facts. The girl whose eyes seemed to change from blue to gray, then from gray to green the longer you looked at them.
"Um, is Olivia still here?" I asked, looking behind her to find Olivia, but all I saw was boxes, picture frames, and bags everywhere.
She nodded before going back in the dorm to get my sister. "Olivia, your brother's back," I heard her say before Olivia opened her room door
"Oh Chandler, I've just had the greatest idea!" She exclaimed.
I rolled my eyes. Olivia's idea of a "great idea" was a little twisted
"What is it?" I asked reluctantly.
"We should bring Taylor to lunch with us." Olivia's words caused the brunette to look up from the pictures she was going through.
"Oh no, I wouldn't want to intrude. Besides, I have a lot of things to go through." She said quickly vetoing the idea.
Olivia brushed the thought off. "You wouldn't be intruding. You can just follow us in your car while we drive ahead."
"I don't have a car." She mumbled. "Or a license." She turned around and went back to rummaging through her things.
I noticed then, that no one had been with her when she arrived and I kinda felt bad for her. "You can ride with us," I blurted out before I even knew what I was saying.
Olivia gasped. "I knew you had some brain left in you!"
