A restful night, a bustling morning. You were dressed by Senator Chuchi in a crimson suit, and your hair was styled down by a handmaiden just before breakfast. The room you were ushered into was filled with around ten or so women with the Queen Breha Organa seated at the head of the table. Since this breakfast was intended to give you advise on the role you were about to receive only married women were allowed and Senator Chuchi said she would rejoin you after the breakfast.

Much of the advise given was on being gracious for your own shortcomings, for your husbands faults, and on having diligent hope and love for your spouse. Plenty of jokes were made about new married life, but it was clear these women wished you well even though they had never met you. The Queen in particular offering her blessings for your new marriage with hope for your future life.

With breakfast over Senator Chuchi escorted your back to your room, and you saw the grooms party passing through the hallway, but Senator Chuchi blocked your view with a fan and took you quickly up the stairs while you laughed. Now you were getting ready for the ceremony itself. You went over your vows while you waited for a short while, and then you were settled down to have your hair done, followed by your makeup. Senator Chuchi kept an eye on the time, and Omega made an appearance to see you, marking the time when the guests were being moved to the Cathedral.

The helpers left you, and Senator Chuchi helped you get into your dress. You sat around for what felt like forever because of your nerves, and kept looking out the balcony or waiting for something to happen.

"Its alright" Senator Chuchi reassured you, holding your hands "We're ahead of schedule so I'm keeping us paced. They are still taking guests over".

"Okay" you replied, but Senator Chuchi could see the tension you were holding in your shoulders. "Its okay Y/N. Really. I understand being nervous, its a big day".

You looked to Senator Chuchi's golden eyes, feeling like you might cry from the pressure. Your not sure why your so emotional on such a happy day, but the whirling feelings inside you are just under the surface. But you don't want to cry and ruin the makeup that had been applied to your face, especailly the red markings similar to the pantoran culture of tattoos.

"I might cry" you manage to choke out, and Senator Chuchi hugs you, gentle reassuring you "Its okay. I can always touch up your makeup before we go".

"I ... I didn't believe I would ever have this" you say slowly, taking deep breathes to let the words choke out without bringing forth the tears with them "I never thought I would ... actually get married ... but here I am"-- your face breaks into a huge smile--"I'm getting married Riyo".

"Yes" Senator Chuchi smiled back excitedly, and gave you another hug "you're getting married".

You did your best to continue taking deep breathes but the emotions were overflowing up to the very last minute when you were signaled you could leave. As a final touch Senator Chuchi, with the help of the hand-maidens placed a large veil over your head. It was red, rimmed with gold embroidery all along its scalloped edge in a small floral pattern. Both the veil and dress train were long behind you, with the veil landing halfway down the dress and the train needing to be carried behind you as you walked. Senator Chuchi walked with you down the grand staircase, and all you could see was the light filtering through the veil. You were not aware that there was already a photographer present, but the photographs of you gracefully stepping down the stairs with Senator Chuchi in her own Navy suit turned out beautifully.

You got into the vehicle slowly so that Senator Chuchi and the other handmaiden near you could shove the dress and veil around inside and prevent it from catching.

"remember, you can take your time and greet your guests" Senator Chuchi reminded you "I know its nerve racking but you don't need to rush down there".

"What if I start crying?" you ask, knowing that as soon as you recognize someone you might start tearing up.
