"You alright, Bon-Bon?"

Vivian's voice ignited a glimmer of hope in Siobhan, whispering that perhaps this didn't have to be her fate. She turned to meet the gaze of the dark-haired woman. "Viv, how did you get here?" Her eyes widened, filled with anticipation.

Vivian's brows furrowed in contemplation. "Well, that is a bit of a blur. I was out buying perfume when I ran into Marjorie, who started mumbling about you smelling my perfume and asking why I wasn't coming to the wedding. I said I didn't want to see you marry someone else; she said you wouldn't if I told you how I feel." She raised her brows, shifting her weight playfully on her feet. "Maybe it's not such a blur after all."

Siobhan stepped closer to Vivian, her heart racing in her chest. "And how exactly do you feel, Viv?"

Vivian took a step towards the blonde, closing the gap between them. "I have feelings for you, Bon Bon. Since the moment I walked in late that evening for pickup. I couldn't explain it—something about the look in your eyes that sparked something in me. It felt like this was inevitable, like this is where we would always end up." She pulled her hands out of her pockets to take Siobhan's hands. "If he makes you happy, that is all I want for you. But I don't think he does."

For a brief moment, silence enveloped them, hazel eyes locked into deep gray, each heartbeat echoing in the stillness.

Feeling the weight of the silence becoming unbearable, Vivian squeezed Siobhan's hands softly. "This is the part where you either tell me to sod off or you confess you feel the same way." Her tone was teasing yet earnest, cutting through the tension.

In a surge of courage, Siobhan pulled Vivian in for a lingering, fervent kiss, her arms wrapping instinctively around the other woman's neck while Vivian embraced her waist. When they finally broke apart, Siobhan gazed at the brunette, awe radiating from her. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that." She leaned in for another kiss but stopped short as footsteps echoed up the stairs.

"Quick." Siobhan tossed her ring aside and clutched Vivian's hand tightly, and together, they started to run.

They sprinted down what felt like endless corridors for what seemed like an eternity when they spotted Mia, who playfully blew them a kiss while dangling some car keys in her hand. Siobhan snatched them up without even breaking her stride. Perhaps they should have gone jogging together; Vivian found herself struggling to keep up.

When they finally reached the main entrance, Siobhan clicked the fob on the keys, eager to see which vehicle awaited them. They were greeted by a beep and a flash of headlights. A mischievous smirk crept across Siobhan's lips, fully aware of who owned the car. The two women climbed in, and with a burst of energy, they tore out of the driveway, Siobhan's foot pressing the gas pedal hard against the floor.

"Ever think of going into professional racing?" Vivian's teasing tone was laced with a touch of nerves, her eyes wide as she watched the blonde drive so recklessly.

"What's wrong? Don't like a bit of danger?" Siobhan replied with a playful smirk, her gaze flicking over to the brunette.

"I like you, and that's the same thing, isn't it?" She threw a knowing look at the blonde, her heart racing.

Siobhan shot a sharp look at Vivian, the intensity simmering between them. "Ten minutes after stealing the bride away, and you're already digging yourself a hole." Her brow raised, a warning hidden beneath the playful tension.

"See? I do like danger." Vivian couldn't help letting her eyes linger over Siobhan's figure. The way her concentration sharpened on the road, the elegance of her dress—it took Vivian's breath away, the racing pulse not just from that sharp turn Siobhan took, quickly gripping the handle hanging from the ceiling.

Catching Vivian's gaze from the corner of her eye, Siobhan felt her resolve waver, a thrilling surge coursing through her.

Vivian took in the sights whirling around them. It was rare that she found herself in the passenger seat. "So where are we going?" she asked, a hint of anticipation in her voice.

"That depends." The blonde paused at a red light, ensuring it was a smooth stop. "Who's taking care of Jamie tonight? Should I be worried about a curfew?" She used the moment to drink in the sight of the other woman. They held each other's gaze longer than they should have.

Vivian was the first to notice the light change. "Green." She announced to the driver, refusing to tear her eyes away. It took a moment for the question she was asked to register. "Um, he's uh," she stammered, flustered. "Having a sleepover with a friend tonight."

Siobhan's lips curled into a grin that sparkled with mischief. "Then you're all mine tonight." It was both a question and a command. She pulled a set of keys from the cupholder, jingling them playfully for Vivian to see. "The car keys weren't the only keys Mia gave us."

A thrilling chill ran down Vivian's spine at the sultry tone in Siobhan's voice. "What are those keys to?" She tilted her head, curiosity getting the better of her.

"Mia's beach house." The blonde replied, dropping the keys back in the cupholder as her hand returned to the wheel. She bit her lip just enough to fuel her thoughts about the endless possibilities that awaited them.
