I decided to change before going out so I put on a black crop top with a black flannel and some high waisted shorts with red converse. I decided to just take my hair out and let it be. I have really long brown hair and I usually just leave it down.
I grabbed my black and purple longboard and headed into town. I went on the sidewalk by the beach and I enjoyed the nice fresh breeze until I bumped into someone. Thanks for ruining the moment!
I looked up and saw a boy around my age with dark hair and was quite attractive. "I'm sorry I didn't see you there" he said with a smirk. "No it's fine I wasn't really paying attention" I said. "I'm jack" he said and reached out his hand for me to shake it. "Emma" I said smiling and shaking his hand. "I'm hanging out with some friends on the beach would you like join" I need friends "sure" I said picking up my longboard.
We headed over to the beach and there were all these boys and one girl. "Hey this is Emma and Emma this is my girlfriend Madison" he said pointing to the really pretty girl "and this is Jack Johnson, Nash, Hayes, Cameron, Taylor and Shawn." I kept on taking glances at the Cameron. dude, he was hotter than Jack. Way hotter. All of them said hi and I just waved.
Then the Madison girl came up to me "hey I'm Madison" "hi, Emma" "your really pretty" "thanks you are way prettier then me though" "aww thanks" she said smiling. I think we're gonna be good friends. "So did you just move here" "ya I'm from Oregon" "oh cool my cousins live there" she seemed super nice. "So how do you like it here so far" "not as bad as I thought" "that's good so where do u live?" "Just like five minutes from here" "oh I live like 30 min away from here so your lucky" "so are all the boys here pretty chill" really Emma chill god I'm stupid. "Ya most of them but there Is one boy her who just can't take his eyes off you" she says In a whisper. "What who" I said confused. "Cam" "no he probably is staring at my ugliness" "have you looked in the mirror honey, your gorgeous" "thanks" i said laughing. "But just to warn you he's kind of a player and ya he likes to drink and party and drink" she said repeating herself.
I ended up staying there for like the whole day until it was night and it was getting pretty cold. "Hey guys I think I'm gonna head back to my house now" I said standing up. "I'll walk you, it's not that safe to be out alone at night" Cameron said surprisingly. "Um sure" I said awkwardly. He stood up and we started walking back together. For a couple minutes it was just awkward silence until I broke it. "So are you from here" I ask. "Yep" "oh" I said as a cold breeze flew by and I had goosebumps lol over. "Here take this" he said taking off his sweatshirt and handing it to me. "Thanks" I said as I put it on. God it smelled good.
We finally got to my house and he walked me to the doorstep. "Well I had a good time tonight even though we barely talked" he said with a laugh. "Ya me to" "here give me your number so I can call you" he said. We both exchanged numbers and it was silent for a moment and we just stared at each other and he started leaning in when he was a inch away " here's your jacket" I said handing him the jacket and making him back away awkwardly. "Um ya bye" he said quickly and left. Gosh I ruin everything I thought as I mentally slapped myself and went inside.
