Chapter 1: Kidnapping the Jinchuuriki

AN: Hey guys! This is my first Naruto fanfic so I hope you guys like it. So far I've only done Hitman Reborn (khr) fics but I've been reading alot of sasunaru fics lately so I hope that this is good. but either way I love writing this so I'll continue either way :)

Right outside of the leaf village entrance was a blond and a raven sharing a passionate kiss with each other. The two were waiting for the rest of team 7 so that they could go on the mission they'd been assigned to by lady Tsunade. The mission seemed easy enough since all they had to do was deliver a package to an important person. While waiting for their team, Naruto and Sasuke had gotten caught up in each other's lips to the point that they didn't notice Sakura and Kakashi arriving.

*cough, cough*

Naruto looked over suddenly with a gasp while Sasuke just looked down and smirked as if he had achieved something. The cough had come from Kakashi sensei.

"A-ah, guys... how long have you been standing there?" the blond questioned nervously. "Don't worry about it Naruto, let's just get going." Kakashi said whilst heading towards the village's exit. Walking a bit behind a blushing Sakura and their sensei, the couple quietly whispered to each other.

"Gah, Sasuke, that was embarrassing! I told you we should have waited till later!" Naruto scream whispered to the raven. "Calm down dobe; besides, I like showing off my cute boyfriend." Sasuke said while wrapping his arm around the blonde's waste, causing the other to blush.

The package was supposed to be delivered somewhere in the village hidden in valleys, and the group of four had just arrived to the village.

It was an easy and quick mission, so afterwards they'd decided to get ramen. In the small restaurant, Naruto sat next to Sasuke across from Sakura and Kakashi. It was quite peaceful, until Kakashi began to speak and release a dark and serious aura.

"I'm not the only one that senses someone following us right?"

The rest of the group nodded silently to confirm Kakashi's suspicion. Naruto then broke the silence by speaking.

"It's obvious that they weren't after the package. They would have stopped following us once we delivered it, or at least attacked us for it earlier. So then what is it that they want?"

Sasuke unconsciously tightened his hold on Naruto for safety. The group got up after paying for their meal and left.

At a small clearing in the woods, team 7 was setting up their tents for the night to get some rest. Kakashi was still wary of the followers that he had sensed before, but decided to take shifts sleeping so that if anyone were to attack, then they'd be prepared. The first shift was for Sasuke and Naruto to stay up and keep an eye on the tents.

The couple was sitting on a log back and back with kunai out and ready.

"Ne, Sasuke, you know I love you right?"

The question caught Sasuke off guard by how it came out of nowhere. But regardless, he leaned back far enough to kiss his lover on the lips.

"Of course baka, I love you too." The raven spoke with his lips just barely touching his lover's, causing a dark red blush on the blonde's face. "Why? What's bothering you?"
