"Here you go" Hermione said, handing him her answers.
He read then said" What's Minterio do".
"You only get twenty questions and I have to go, bye" she said.
She went to the common room to find Harry and Ron.
She found them playing chess.
"I got the answers" she said waving the parchment in the air.
Forgetting the game they started shouting" lemme see".
Finally Hermione gave it to them. A couple of times they literally gasped.
"Did you read it yet, Hermione"
"No, why"
" Read numbers 1, 2, and 14"
She read them and said " Woah"

Draco and Hermione met in the library a lot to talk. Now they were friends but no one knew.
"Hey Hermione, remember that diary you were reading".
"Yeah"
"Can I borrow it"
"Sure" she said passing it to him.
I wonder what it says. Maybe something useful. I really hope Hermione asks me to the ball I'm too much of a coward. And it's in two weeks.
I feel so bad. But he'll find the spell soon enough. Maybe I should ask him. He's intelligent, and good looking. I will go with him of he asks me.
" Thanks Hermione" he said walking away to his dorm.

Draco read almost all night when he came across some writing in.the margin. It said Minterio. He thought it sounded familiar. He read what it did. He planned on telling Hermione tomorrow.

"Hey Hermione. Have you ever heard of the spell Minterio".
Draco didn't know why , but all Hermione did was laugh. Laugh.really hard actually. Soon she was rolling on the floor , almost crying.
"What's so funny" he said when she calmed down.
"Nothing" she said.
"Ooookaaaaay, have you heard of it. It sounds familiar. I read what it does. It's a whacky spell".
"I've heard of it. It sounds familiar because I told you it was my favorite spell"
"You've done it before"
"HECK yeah. Got to go though bye"

That whole day he was distracted by what happened but he decided that he, Draco Malfoy, will bring Hermione to the Yule Ball. Later ,he decided how he would ask her.
