Escape Level One

prologue (u might wanna read this)

Let me explain something before I begin. We, the "dark elves" are on the bottom of the ranking. The ranking is a ridiculously stupid status that determines everything in our lives from our houses to what schools or restaurants we go to even what jobs we can get.You see "light elves" have light magic, like healing and the ability to control light or electricity. This putting them on they top of the ranking. The second on the list is the dwarfs, they are good for crafting everyday items, so they are very important. The next is the orges, they are not so smart but they are super strong and they are weapon forgers.Last but not least, is us the dark elves, we are able to control shadows or darkness, we can poison people and bring them back from the dead.The one thing all of us share is the fact that we can transfer our powers to another but no one ever does this.Most of the dark elves have gone bad so that's why we are at the bottom of the ranking, and why we are treated the worst.There are two more things I will tell you, the first being our world is run by the four champions of the escape. They are the Elite.Escape is a challenge put on every four years and this year I might be able to participate if the rumors are true.The other thing I'm going to tell you is what each of the species generally looks like.The light elves have this glow about them.They usually have white, light blue or gray hair and gold sparkly eyes and they have a more curvy body.Light elves are what you'd call the rich beautiful popular kids.Dwarfs are short and stubby with large hands;they usually have long hair. Orges are strong and have the build of a NFL football player. They also have ruffed up hands. Last but not least us, Dark elves usually have brown or black hair we are usually tan and have amber or fiery eyes. We also tend to be strong.the dark elves are what you'd call the bad or mischievous type.Oh and one last thing, the chapters will be narrated by different people but it always comes back to me,Alex, yours truly.
