Seonghwa took the sticky note off his door, reading what it said on it.

"𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤"

Seonghwa's face twisted at the sight of those words. He felt truly disgusted. This was truly a psycho. A psycho who had no dignity. He felt unsafe. He felt unsure.

He had no interest in reporting the incident but if the person kept this up, he would surely report them. Seonghwa quickly entered his house. He looked around his house desperately, thinking of where they would be. Where cameras could be placed. He looked throughout his entire stuff. Remote controls, devices, lamps, lightbulbs- he looked for them inside his cupboard.

Yet he never found any. He let out a sigh of relief. He calmy shook the dust off his black hoodie. He was still full of adrenaline but was yet to calm down since he had work at the office today.

He looked at the time on his phone that read 6AM. He still had 1 hour to get ready.

Seonghwa had already picked out his outfit for today some days ago. He would probably have some 30 minutes to do whatever he wanted since his workplace was close to his house.

His outfit consisted of black plants and a white shirt which was partially covered with a medium-sized beige trenchcoat.

He decided to leave his hair as it was. It had gotten a little longer but he preferred to keep it that way. It suits him anyways.

Upon arriving at the office, Seonghwa checked in at the counter and put on his lanyard which held his ID. On his way to his office he was greeted by many of his colleagues.

"Good morning Seonghwa-ssi!" Beomgyu smiled widely as he energetically waved his hand.

Seonghwa bowed as he greeted him back, later entering his office.

He immediately settled down on his chair. He groaned at the amount of papers that were set down on his table. Completing them would take all day. Nonetheless, Seonghwa started reading all the papers carefully.

After a few minutes, a soft knock was heard on the door.

"Come in," Seonghwa said, not paying attention to the door.

The door was instantly opened, revealing Seonghwa's boss and an unknown man standing right behind him.

He looked quite young. His hair was a light brown, and it was a bit wavy. He was wearing a dark grey button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up. His bright smile was playful, in contrast to the tattoos scattered on his arms.

Seonghwa stared the man down until he heard his boss clear his throat. "Mr. Park, I would like to introduce you to our new office manager." He gestured the brown-haired male to introduce himself to Seonghwa.

"Hello Mr. Park, the names Kim Hongjoong." The male said, stretching his hand out for Seonghwa to shake it. Seonghwa hesitantly extended his hand, shaking Hongjoong's before he skeptically looked at his boss who unexpectedly already left without saying another word.

Seonghwa blinked his eyes and confusedly looked at Hongjoong. "Ah yes,uhm- Mr. Hyun hadn't mentioned that there would be a uh- new office manager.." Hongjoong returned the same confused look Seonghwa had as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh right. I got the job last minute because apparently the old office manager quit yesterday."

Seonghwa furrowed his eyebrows at the mention of the old office manager quitting. "Wow uhm that's really unexpected. I would've never seen that coming. Y'know he really like m-" Seonghwa was abruptly interrupted by the male. "Liked what- exactly?.." Hongjoong said, his head tilting. His expression was unreadable, but anybody would be able to tell it hid some sort of irateness.

Seonghwa's eyes blinked rapidly. He adjusted his coat as he cleared his throat. He was about to speak when suddenly a phone rang.

Hongjoong took his phone out of his back pocket, glancing at the screen. "Ah sorry Seonghwa-ssi, I'll take this call outside." That was the last thing he said before he walked out of Seonghwa's office.

As soon as the door was shut, Seonghwa got up from his chair and looked through his window blinds. He saw the brown-haired male talking through the phone while heading to the elevator. He took one last good look at Hongjoong before he let go of the blinds and scoffed.

Seonghwa sat back down and clicked his pen on the table repeatedly.

Someone like Hongjoong suddenly appearing wasn't on his bingo card- and as an office manager. Now that Seonghwa thought about it, it was very suspicious. The old office manager and him were good friends. If he were to quit he would've at least told him beforehand, but he didn't.

Seonghwa shook his thoughts off as he concentrated on the small pile of papers infront of him.

At lunch, Seonghwa went into the cafeteria, searching for his colleagues he usually sat next to. He scanned all around the room until his eyes fell upon Hongjoong, who was waving at him, gesturing for Seonghwa to sit with him. Seonghwa noticed how Hongjoong was sitting alone, like if everyone wanted to avoid him.

He pretended to not have seen Hongjoong and continued walking until he finally found his colleagues at a nearby table and quickly sat down.

"I do not regret doing that." Seonghwa said, clicking his tongue as he opened his lunchbox. "Doing what?" Beomgyu asked while eating a mouthful of rice. Seonghwa looked in back of him trying to make sure Hongjoong wasn't paying attention to what he was about to say.

"The new office manager. He creeps me out. I get that he's just trying to be nice but I just pretended I didn't see him when he told me to sit with him to eat." Seonghwa whispered out, once again looking back to make sure no one else heard.

Glances were shared throughout the whole table before one of the females there spoke up. "I heard that he wanted to work here because apparently he was interested in someone here."

Seonghwa choked on his rice upon hearing what his colleague had said. His eyes widened as he covered his mouth. "Really?!" Seonghwa spat out, not realizing that he yelled out.

Beomgyu quickly shut Seonghwa up by shoving another spoonful of rice in his mouth. "Hyung don't yell! We don't want people knowing that we're talking about him!" Beomgyu sighed and apologized to all the people who stopped eating to look at them.

"We don't know if it's true. Besides you know how Arin is. She's always making stuff up." Beomgyu said between giggles.

Arin rolled her eyes before she continued eating. Seonghwa awkwardly chuckled as he looked at Hongjoong from afar, who was busy eating and staring down at the table blankly.
