Aurora, Nathan, and the triplets went out. But she was still texting Malaki. She changed his name and gave him a profile for her contact on his phone. Just a photo that was similar to one of her post on Instagram during the fall season.

He sent her a picture from the summer. "Damn, he's cute." She said but Nathan heard her. "Who?" She quickly denied and said it was just a character from a show that she never watched.

He didn't think much of it so he nodded and turned away then started a conversation with Chris as usual. She was basically not communicating with anyone at the table.

Iris checked on her to see how they were doing. At this point, call Iris a fucking genius. A boy who was not even known in middle school to being a football player who has a good personality and basically every girls dream guy but still gets his heart broken.

"Ashley fumbled real bad." A fucking girl who falls out of love quickly after months. She used Malaki but he got over it and found Aurora. He was scared to talk to her at first to not being able to talk or look at her to now being able to go for the beautiful young teenage girl that everybody knows.

"You been on your phone this whole time. At least engage with us?" Chris suggested, "But you guys are facing each other not I." She replied texting Malaki before putting her phone on do not disturb.

Chris rolled his eyes, "Okay? Well at least say something that's going on with school or whatever that's entertaining?" She sighed and started thinking. "How are your teachers?" Nathan asked, "They're something, I guess. Annoying, nice?"

"We can clearly see by the amount of times you been in trouble that you go through annoying staff or teachers." Matt said and they all agreed, Aurora rolled her eyes. "Okay...so what do you want to do for your birthday?" Nick asked.

"I thought my birthday was on a Saturday for a moment. I just want something simple. Maybe just a small birthday dinner as usual. You know, Iris comes along like every year."

"You don't want to go out of town? Rory, you're 16 turning 17 on Sunday, last year you did a birthday dinner, you had over 15 friends. You even got your drivers license." Matt said and Aurora sighed, "As usual, Iris can come along!" Chris added.

"You always wanted to go to New York for your birthday?" Nick says, she smiled. "Can we please go to New York?" They all laughed at her and agreed. "Good thing you haven't been near that boy Dallas." Chris said rolling his eyes.

"He has been trying to get back with me but I stopped him cause I figured what he was doing, so we're sorta like mutuals now because we have the same friends." Her heart was fucking beating. At least she told a little bit of the truth.

At the end of the day, her brothers will find out and they may find out that their own best friend, Nathan knew about the whole thing, too. "Fuck why did I say that? But they aren't mad so that's the good thing, I guess." Aurora's mind was going insane.
