'[Y/N]...' whispered the unknown voice

The "voice" repeated my name over and over...

As if it's trying to warn me about something...

The temperature suddenly went warmer

And the voidal noise got louder..

"Kyoko"? A young woman's voice is heard, I then felt a slight tap on my shoulder as I feel my arms crossed against a table, or a desk rather, which seemed like 'my' body's asleep.

"Kyoko, wake up already! Class announcement's over!" The young woman bawled as she continues to tap my shoulder, harder this time.

I began to straighten up and slowly opened my eyes to take a look at my surroundings. It seemed like I'm in a senior highschool classroom, the setting didn't look familiar enough for me to recognize. I glance at the young woman whom kept calling by the name 'Kyoko', analyzing her features. The more I look at her, the more I recognized her.

"Mayu?" I questioned

"Obviously! I mean who else could you think of?" She retorted

'Isn't she a DeathNote side character? Odd...' I thought as I looked at her with my eyes wide open in surprise.

"Am I dreaming?" I mumbled to myself

Suddenly, Mayu pinched my cheek hard enough for me to realize, yet I still felt dizzy.

"Ow! That hurt y'know!" I exclaimed before I slowly carress my reddened cheek.

"Dreaming huh? Well why don't you stand up and look around to see if you're dreaming or hallucinating, Miss Kyoko!" Mayu retorted sarcastically

"If I'm not dreaming then-" I paused for a moment, realizing that what I'm about to say won't make any sense.

"Then what?!" Exclaimed Mayu

"Nothing, nevermind..."

"Told ya" Mayu chuckled, leaning against the wall

"I'll just go ahead and excuse myself to the restroom real quick..." I spoke quietly before standing up from a chair

"Sure, I'll wait for you here"

"Alright..." I walked out, leaving the classroom as I head towards the school restroom

'What's happening? Why did it get so weird all of a sudden? Is this a prank? I swear, I died in an accident!' I thought to myself as I enter the restroom.

I looked to my right and once I saw my reflection in the mirror, my eyes widen in shock and I froze in fear and anxiety. The girl shown in the mirror is surprisingly not me. Her appearance is a short, skinny young woman with short black hair, wearing a thin pair of glasses and a formal highschool uniform. I stood there in shock as I continue to look at 'myself' in the mirror. I am absolutely stunned by the look in the mirror, the same figure that looked exactly like the character named Kyoko.

Once I regain my composure, I quickly opened the faucet and splashed water onto my face and looked in the mirror again. My face suddenly went pale as I looked in terror as if I've seen a ghost, I wanted to scream out of fright but it wouldn't do any better. I removed the thin pair of glasses on my face and looked at it for a moment, my vision blurred and it seems I've adapted her condition.
