I'm very fortunate that Bunny or Ava didn't have a drink in their mouths, or it would've gone all over the place. Ava has a shocked/disbelief face (understandable) while I couldn't even explain Bunny's expression.

I explain everything that had happened, starting from the murder & how still no one has a clue what actually happened, all the way up to Mr. Pierce & how I'll be meeting him tomorrow.

Sure, I've met him before.. but he's like... my fiancé now?? Eugh. I could vomit just by that thought.

"Wha.. wait." Bunny says not being able to get a full sentence out I assume. "Huh..?" Her eyebrows are pinched together & her lips are pursed as she starts shaking her head in confusion. "That's.. a lot." Ava says slowly.

We sit & talk about it for awhile, Ava ended up crying a little when I explained more in depth. But I'm pretty sure it fully hit them, no more confusion. Aside from why it happened.. and why my father chose Mr. Pierce.. and why my father said Cyrus wanted ME..? But that's all justified.

We eventually parted ways because Ava had to get home to her fiancé & daughter and Bunny wanted to go shopping, while I didn't.

I wanted to go home, take a long nap & maybe never wake up again. Unfortunately that isn't an option & once I get home my parents are immediately on me about marriage related subjects.

Apparently, neither of them can take hints because I've said "I'm not too picky" 9 times, "whatever you think is best" 4 times, "mmhmmm" 7 times, and I'm 5 yawns in when they finally choose to wrap it up for the day.

By the time we're done it's around 9pm, we've eaten dinner & went over everything twice.

God, I have never missed my bed as much as I do now. I wanna curl up like a bear in hibernation & just never leave.

Unfortunately, once again, that's not an option. I'm reminded by our maid, Ruby, that I have to be up by 6AM for my meeting with Mr. Pierce.

I love Ruby, and most of our other staff too. I know it's "improper" to be friends with those who work for you, but they're family to me. Ruby has worked for my family since I was young, she's like an aunt to me. But God when she reminds me of anything that has to do with marriage I wanna explode.

- the next day -

Ruby woke me up at 4 so i could get ready to meet Mr. Pierce. This is how it went when I met Adrian for the first time too, im getting horrible deja vu. Just much less excited this time, not that I was excited about Adrian either.

I take an hour long shower, which helps calm my nerves a lot more than I expected. Showers have always been my place of peace. It makes it easy to escape reality & to have my own little bubble.

After I got ready I was rushed into the car to go meet Mr. Pierce. We're apparently going to this diner I've never heard of. Thinking of Mr. Pierce in a diner is sort of funny to me. Doesn't seem like his type of scenery.

We're sitting inside waiting for Mr. Pierce, I ordered my much needed coffee so I'm okay for now. Until I see a biker pull up, once he takes his helmet off I see him.

Holy. Shit. Since when was he HOT? I mean, he's always been good looking but.. Oh. Fuck.
