Another typical day at the Cafe. I'm typing the monthly reports of the cafe while Ethan playing beside me mumbling some baby talk when Melody emerge from the door "Alexa!" me and Ethan got shock and Ethan looking at her with wide eye while she's grinning like an idiot "I think i'm inlooove" still grinning, I shake my head and bring back my attention to my laptop
"you always said that everytime you met a guy and please stop grinning like an idiot your scaring me"
"No.. this time, it's different it feels like where meant to be, destined " now shes sitting to her chair looking at the ceiling daydreaming
"that's what you said when you met Albert"
"Who's Albert?" she ask defensively
"duh! your boyfriend when we were in junior high, the one you though that going to propose to you and you excitedly bought your wedding ring then it backfire because he's intension is to broke up with you"
"yeah the idiot! I hope he can never reproduce" clenching her jaw
I laugh"I can clearly remember that day when he told you that he wanted to broke up, you kicked her balls so hard and you broke his nose" i laugh loudly while holding my stomach
"you see his face that's so hilarious!. He deserve it, he cheat on me by impregnated that bitch"
"hey! watch your words there is minor in here!" then look to Ethan
"But seriously"looking at me in serious look "I'm glad that Joshua accept Ethan and don't leave you"
"yeah i'm glad too, the idea of him leaving me because of Ethan will be depressing"
"it only means that he don't really love you although he is your first boyfriend, you only dated him for six months and you still you don't done it so I think he's nothing"
"abcourse not, I love him and you know that but if i'm going to choose between him and Ethan i'm going to choose Ethan"
"speaking of the devil, where is he now? it's been a long time since I saw him coming here"
"yeah, I tried to call him but he always told me that he's busy, so I decided to surprise him later" I gave her a wink
"okay, so what are you planning?" frowning her brow
"can you please take care of Ethan for a night?, pleaaaase" giving her my best puppy look
"okay, but you need to tell me all the dirtiest details after and please remove that stupid look on your face" I chuckle
"thank you and I really love you"
"love you too" giving me a flying kiss"
Our mother are both bestfriends my parents are always out of the country and they always leave me to their house. We been friends since we are five I think, she's sometimes crazy (chuckle) but she is nice, sweet, understanding, protective and caring, I love her unconditionally and I know she love's me too. She is crazy to boys and I can't understand why they are always cheated her, one thing that I know if you love her truly she is worth to treasure.
We close the Cafe at nine, the cafe always close at seven. We all heading home. Melody decided to move to our house so because her parents decided to move to France to start a new business there and she is afraid to be alone.
We reach our drive way I park the car while melody park beside me. I notice a flash of camera
"Melody,did you see it?"
"what?"
"there's a camera flash" we stop for awhile then look around us, we see nothing.
"maybe it's just your imagination, lets go inside so that you can rest before you go to Joshua's house."
...
I look at my phone and it's already 9:30pm, I was wearing a brown longsleeves, pants and black flats, I let my hair fall into it's natural waves.
As I reach Joshua street I have this feeling that something is wrong, but I can't figure what it is, I park my car beside his car,
as I get nearer to his house door, I notice that it is slightly open, I peek
"Joshua?!" but no one answer, I tried to call him again still no one answered.
I can see clearly his living room because the street lamp light reflect inside his house, I entered his house and almost step on a broken pieces of jar 'wait, what?'
"what happened in here? I gasped
