Before reading this, here is a bit of info in 1500s europe and this novel
1.It was normal back then for fourteen year olds to have lovers years older than them (JUST facts!)
2.there were young mothers, as young as thirteen (case of Margaret Beaufort) and Isabella of Valois (married at seven years old) so im just writing historical facts!
3.I've decided to make Katheryn Howard a bit older, i agree with the theory that she was born in 1521-1524, so im making her seventeen when she married henry Vlll and nineteen at the time of her execution
4.upon reading Alison Weir's Katheryn Howard, the Scandalous Queen, i agree with the theory that Katheryn loved Henry Mannox but did not give herself to him and she was fifteen-sixteen when she met Francis Dereham and gave her virginity to him
5. Katheryn actually fell out of love with Dereham and was actually wanted to leave him for court life.
6.I do think Katheryn and Thomas culpeper have a affair during her marriage to Henry
*even though I like writing fan fiction, i do like to maintain a balance in accuracy but no too much
