─ ─ ─ ─ VALERIE SAT IN nick's bathroom, blasting gracie abrams' latest album ─ the secret of us ─ as she got ready for her date with chris. he didn't give her many details, only telling her to dress comfortably, so she decided to just wear mascara, putting her hair in a simple braid.
once finished, she moved to 'her' bedroom, sifting through one of her numerous suitcases for something casual yet nice. after a few minutes, she finally decided on a pair of flared leggings, a light pink baby tee with a sewn in white ribbon on the front and her ugg slippers.
after getting dressed, she checked the time to see that it was 7:20, so she decided to sit on the bed and wait, as chris told her he was going to 'pick her up.' every minute, it felt she was checking the time until finally, at 7:28, she heard a timid knock on the door, followed by an even more timid voice. "valerie?"
