And I need you to know that we’re falling so fast
we’re falling like the stars, falling in love
And I’m not scared to say those words, with you I’m safe

MINHO
Minho felt his cheeks flame hotter as Jisung’s gaze lingered, that cocky grin pressing him right to the edge of his own tolerance. It was the same grin that always got under his skin, the one that pushed him into embarrassment like nothing else could. Jisung was his best friend, but he was also his fiercest rival – the person who could humble him with just a look, especially when Minho got a little too overconfident. “Your ears are turning red,” Jisung teased, smirking as he leaned in just a little closer, clearly enjoying the effect he had on Minho. That smirk was insufferable and magnetic, all at once. “Oh, shut up,” Minho whined, though a weak smile betrayed him. With a sigh, he gave Jisung a half-hearted shove, sending him sprawling off his lap. “You’re a jerk,” Minho muttered, but his words had no real bite. It was hard to pretend to be annoyed when his heart felt like it might jump out of his chest. Jisung just laughed, crossing his legs in front of Minho and watching him sit up slowly. “Not my fault you insisted you’re stronger,” he replied with a self-satisfied grin, “I just had to prove you wrong.” Minho rolled his eyes. “I am stronger,” Minho pouted, though he could hear the incredulous laugh in Jisung’s voice. “Oh, sure,” Jisung said, leaning back, eyes gleaming with mischief. “Do you need me to prove you wrong again?” There was a playful glint in his eyes that held Minho captive. And, despite knowing better, Minho felt himself falter under that gaze. Minho let out a soft laugh, shaking his head, trying to ignore the rapid thump of his heartbeat. He wanted so badly to let Jisung keep putting him in his place, to fall back into that steady dynamic of theirs. But he knew Jisung didn’t see him that way. That thought held him back, made him glance away. Then Jisung’s voice, light and a little uncertain, brought him back to the moment. “So,” he said, pulling Minho out of his daze, “you wanna grab some food after practice? And maybe go stargazing? There’s a meteor shower tonight.” Jisung’s eyes gleamed with excitement as he spoke, and for a second, Minho’s stomach flipped. Minho almost said he didn’t need to go stargazing because he could see all the stars in Jisung’s eyes, but he quickly bit back the cheesy line and cleared his throat instead. “You’re paying,” he teased, trying to keep his voice casual, though he felt his heart racing at the thought of just the two of them together, under the stars. “Deal!” Jisung exclaimed, jumping to his feet with a wide smile. Minho watched him stretch, the hem of his shirt lifting just enough to reveal a sliver of skin. His gaze lingered, caught by the unexpected allure. Jisung caught him staring, naturally, and gave him that teasing grin again. “Just because you’re the dance leader,” he started, bending down toward Minho with an exaggerated smirk, “doesn’t mean you’re excused from warming up.” Minho chuckled, forcing himself up from the floor and muttering, “Alright, alright.” Just as he was about to reply with a sarcastic comment, the practice room door burst open, and the other members spilled in. “We bought coffee!” Felix called out, holding up a cup. Minho gladly accepted, feeling the comforting warmth of the cup in his hands. The boost was welcome – especially with the thought of a late-night stargazing trip with Jisung lingering at the back of his mind.
