"why is it you need to fly out to philadelphia again?" Donald asked, a bit of skepticism in his voice. "I'm visiting an old friend from school" Melania tried to keep as calm as possible. If her husband found out she was there to attend another candidats rally - let alone his biggest competitors - well, Melania didnt even want to imagine it. She didnt talk much during the drive, just starring out of the window onto the busy streets of new york. The closer they got to the Airport the more nervous she got. She played with her hair while chewing on her lip, praying to any god out there that her husband would just believe her. "You need to be back before the election" he said casually. The former first lady was used to her husband not particually caring for her, but it still stung a little that the only thing on his mind was, once again, the election. "I will be, don't worry. Will you accompany me to my gate?" He sunk back into his car seat, groaning. "Do I have to? You're a grown woman, Melania." She nodded, a bit of dissapointment in her voice "fine. I'll go myself"

The Flight was farely quiet, a few people recognized her and she took pictures with them. As she relaxed in her first class seat, her thoughts once again wandered to Kamala. Her smile never left Melanias mind ever since they met. She even found herself dreaming of the Vice-President some nights. Those dreams weren't wild or anything, it was mostly just a lot of talking. Her voice was just so perfect, the way her hair fell so perfect without Kamala even trying. Her lips looked so soft, Melania had wondered a few times what they would feel like on hers but she quickly discarded this idea every time. Kamala was off-limits to her anyway, and the times Melania wished she wasnt werent going to change anything. "Your food, Mrs Trump" The flight attendant tore Melania out of her thoughts. Her lunch consisted of mashed potatoes, pork and tomato juice. Melania really wasnt hungry, she felt like she couldnt get a single bite down with Kamalas rally being tomorrow. The thought of seeing Harris again made Melania involuntary smile. It was such a big risk to go to her rally, but Melania didnt care. She would pay extra attention to not get caught.

The next morning came rather quickly, and Melania rummaged through her suitcase. She packed casual clothes for today, just to avoid getting caught at all cost. After some time she decided on a pair of jeans, white sneakers, a blue Harris 2024 hat, black sunglasses and her personal highlight, a dark blue T-Shirt with rainbow wording that said "𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚. 𝐊𝐚•𝐦𝐚•𝐥𝐚. 𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭" a small smirk crept on her face as she looked at herself in the mirror and imagined Donalds reaction if he saw her like this. She knew he would be fuming, and that made the whole thing even more exciting to her. Before she left her hotel room she tied her hair back and grabbed her bag. Then she checked her phone one last time. No new calls from Donald, not even yesterday to ask if she had arrived okay. Melania only shook her head, before putting her phone into her bag. What else did she expect from the guy? After all, she could have died in a planecrash for all he cared. That would have at least made good marketing for him.

After a quick walked she arrived at the location, the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Just as expected the rally was full. Melania had made sure her seat was in the very back so no cameras were on her. If they showed her face too close people might recognize her. The former first lady shifted uncomfortably in her seat as she waited for the rally to begin, feeling so close but also way too far from Kamala. The only distraction she really had were the two teenagers sitting next to her. Melania could overhear their conversation pretty easily, they weren't exactly being quiet. One of them, the girl with the blue hair and lesbian bracelets laughed, as she said to the boy "I bet even Melania is voting for Harris this time. How can anyone take trump seriously?" The boy nodded, his shoulder-long brown hair falling into his face "oh yeah, he seems mad to me. I mean, what is he even on about with the dogs and cats?" The two almost made Melania laugh, but she was a little too nervous. She kept fiddeling with her necklace, waiting for Kamala to come up on stage. The anticipation was killing her
