After we moved to America as a fact Max went into the military to be a pilot and I was stuck alone with mom to unpack boxes and boxes of clothes and just stuff, but when 8th grade came around in August I hardly ever saw mom which made me sad. Also when I got home at night mom was always at work so I never saw her. 

After school on my second week I came home to a empty house as usual and I decided to call MAx on my new phone so I got out my phone and called him. It took me three times to call him but eventually I was able to call him. 

"Hello?" 

"HI, Max I've missed you so much how have you been?" 

"I'm ok, I learned how to fly a plane and one of the other kids crashed into a hill and is in the E.R and maybe alive but we don't know," 

"I have to go," 

"O.....OK," I said 

Click. 

I made a bowl of noodles and watched some youtube while I waited till mom got home as the bright lights of the YouTube on the TV.  

"Hello?" 

"Mom is that you?" 

"yes, I made dinner for you," 

"I already ate," 

"I'm gonna go lie down in bed for a while," 

"O, I was gonna...... 

I sighed and looked up at the ceiling and looked at the fan blowing the air around. I thought about the things that people can do but never say, and the cruel of the world.
