                                              Just a couple weeks after Brittney's revelations to her husband, she and Liam had many hard and emotional conversations about what was going on. The two came up with a game plan and a new journey would be ventured for the two. 
After Brittney revealed everything going on to her husband, she ended up having a trio of meetings with Paul and Stephanie backstage at Raw and Smackdown as well as a phone conversation now that they ran WWE and NXT. She had come to the decision to leave WWE after this upcoming WrestleMania, having her lose the championship and ride off into the sunset so to speak. They would let her contract run its course until July when it'd expire, but she had no intention of going to anywhere else with wrestling. She wanted to separate herself from the business and wanted to see what the next chapter would be like. 
Liam and Brittney were currently headed over to Mercedes and Jon's to have dinner with them and catch up before they'd go back on the road for the Royal Rumble. They were going to reveal the latest news of Brittney leaving WWE to them first. They told Brittney's parents the previous day and were keeping the news out of the public eye. 
"Everything else going good, though?" Jon asked as Liam and Brittney were catching up with his parents on everything that was going on. 
"Well, sort of? There is something we have to tell you both." Brittney said as Mercedes and Jon seemed confused.
"What's going on babe?" Mercedes asked as she stopped what she was doing and the four moved to the living room. 
"Sooo, I am actually leaving WWE after Mania." Brittney dropped the bombshell as Mercedes' and Jon's eyes went wide as they weren't exactly anticipating her to say that. 
"Really? What's going on?" Jon asked as neither he or Mercedes anticipated her to drop that bombshell to them. 
Liam let Brittney tell them everything and not take the words out of her mouth. She filled them in on the depression and burnout she was experiencing from wrestling for practically her whole life and not having much of an identity outside of being a WWE Superstar. She was incredibly grateful but felt the experience was swallowing her whole. She also added in to the negative backlash from the fans only added in more fuel to the fire of how she was feeling. 
Brittney also explained how WWE- specifically Paul and Stephanie- were going to let her contract ride out until July but WrestleMania would be her final WWE appearance. She would drop the championship to her WrestleMania opponent and be done after that. She didn't know exactly what the next chapter would be after leaving WWE, but was looking forward to the step away and focusing on herself and herself only as a person and not as Britt Raine- top WWE Women's Superstar. 
"I wouldn't blame you for wanting to leave either. It takes balls to catch it and go home in a sense. But you know we're always going to support you honey." Jon said while looking at his daughter in law. 
"I've experienced some similar feelings especially after I came back from having Taylor. I don't blame you for wanting to leave, but I also can't wait to see what you'll end up doing next. We're always here for you and going to support you." Mercedes agreed, hugging Brittney as she had her own emotions she was fighting back her own emotions now that the word was out and around the family. But she was relieved to not hide it from either set of parents anymore.
