The ship cut through the dense fog, its progress slow and deliberate. The surrounding sea was eerily silent, the usual hum of waves replaced by a muffled hush as if the world itself had been swallowed up by the fog. A thick blanket of white smothered any sense of direction, leaving the crew uncertain of how much farther they had to go.

"Hey honey we almost there?"

"Can't see anything past this damn fog," another voice responded

"Can't see anything past this damn fog," another voice responded. It belonged to one of the recruits stationed on the ship, their voice filled with frustration and unease. "Captain Narihana, can you try to clear it with your lightning?"

Narihana Kaminari, standing tall with a commanding presence at the helm, glanced out at the endless sea of mist. Her golden hair shimmered faintly in the low light, and her sharp eyes scanned the horizon for any sign of a break in the fog. The request was understandable, but she knew the limitations of her powers all too well.

"I don't think electricity can do anything about this," Narihana said, her voice calm but firm, the certainty in her tone cutting through the air like a cool breeze

"I don't think electricity can do anything about this," Narihana said, her voice calm but firm, the certainty in her tone cutting through the air like a cool breeze.

The recruit's face fell, frustration mounting. They were still too far from their destination to turn back, and the uncertainty gnawed at them all. They had been sailing for hours, and yet it felt like they were still trapped in the same endless white void.

"We'll have to wait for it to clear up naturally," Narihana continued, trying to ease the tension. "I'm afraid there's nothing we can do for now."

As the crew settled into an uneasy quiet, the ship continued its journey through the murky sea. The only sound that broke the silence was the occasional creak of the wood, and the soft murmurs of those onboard, trying to make sense of the delay.

Kenji Kaminari leaned against the cabin wall, rubbing the back of his neck in thought. His face was shadowed with concern, eyes darting toward the thick, impenetrable fog that had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. "But babe, this fog came out of nowhere... We were clear a few hours ago, and now it's like we're stuck in some kind of ghostly trap."

Narihana, standing at the helm with her back to him, stared out into the endless white nothingness, her golden hair barely moving in the stale air. The tension in her posture was evident, but she remained calm. As always.
