"hey, this is my first week of work and im not doing so bad!" cody thought to himself.
the only not-so-good thing i have done was make another worker sneeze, they were allergic to a certain flower and i put the flower close up to their face to tease them. i didn't know about their allergy and why the fuck would they worker at a flower shop if they are allergic to a type of flower?
anyway, a brunette pregnant woman walked into the flower shop. she wanted me to help arrange groups of flowers for her gender reveal party. the theme of it was obviously pink and blue. she also said a tiny bit of white and purple would work. i walked to go grab many bouquet paper for the flowers. half of them were pink with lots of blue, white, and purple dots. the other half were blue and pink, white, and purple dots.
the brunette said she didn't want any dots so i asked if she would like to come with me to see the options or i'll bring her some options. she rolled her eyes and said this:
"uhm excuse me? do you really think a PREGNANT WOMAN has the URGE to stand up on HEELS? i would like the option that YOU bring ME those, uh, water prove paper things."
"oh yes, my apologies. i'll be right back with many bouquet paper things you can choose from."
i muttered under my breath obscenities and went to go get the thing she asked for. i brought ten designs for her, some people might think that's not a lot but i had to stuff them all in my arms.
the designs were pink, blue, white, and purple plaid, those colors but with stars, checkers pattern, hearts, those colors but just blending into each other, squiggly lines, small flowers, animal print, paisley, and butterfly. i even suggested plain colors but with multiple papers. honestly, i thought she would love them but this asshole decided to cross her arms and tell me these sucked.
"you actually suck at your job, can't you just suggest good things! my party is in less than two weeks while YOU can't even pick good designs on a fucking piece of paper. lets just get on with the flowers I GUESS..."
"ma'am you understand that this is a small company and that we don't even have many designs, right? and i already told you, you can see the options yourself." i understood she was pregnant but COME ON.
"no thanks, i would want you to SHUT THE FU-"
i quickly grabbed a glass vase and dropped it in front of her. alright, that was a little harsh but like... i just had to. the lady yelled "UgGgGgHhHhHhH" my boss heard all of this commotion. the last words i heard from him was, uhm, you're fired.
i walked over to the coffee shop next door to see my boyfriend.

noah pov.
i was making this random ass "pink drink" thing for these preppy girls that look about ten years old. the line was pretty story to be honest. all the sudden i heard glass breaking from next door. was cody alright. i was about to leave the coffee shop but then i saw cody open the door.
"hiii! i just got fired!" he said somehow joyful.
"oh, why?" i asked.
uh i dropped a glass vase in front of a pregnant woman that was bugging me off, haha."
"pfft, you made the right choice. lemme get some coffee for the two of us and we can go back home, love."
my nodded, showing the gap between his teeth. i pinched his cheeks, making them turn red. i took off my apron and placed it on the counter. i held cody's hand out of the door. on our way out, i saw a pregnant woman storm out of the flower shop cody used to work at.
"yo gaps, that her?"
"yep."
i flipped her off and walked off with the love of my life.
