It is November 6th, 2024 just 10 days before the kidnapping of Evelyn Rain Shaw.

"HONEY YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL HURRY UP!"

"COMING MOM!"

I run down the stairs and grab my lunch and my breakfast (toast and a banana).  My mom grabs me by the wrist and pulls me in for a hug. "Where do you think you are going, young lady?"

"I'm sorry but I'm going to be late," I hug my mom and run out the door. I love you, I hear my mom say.

I make it to the bus and sit in my seat next to my best friend Mia who is the coolest person in the world. Mia and I have been friends for the longest time since preschool when our moms met.

"EVELYN HEY," Mia squeals while hugging me.

"MIAAAAAAAA," I say while hugging her back tightly.

Mia and I talked the entire bus ride about how our weekend went and how we were very nervous about our test today.

"Hey babe."

"MICAHHHHHHHH," I say standing up and giving my boyfriend the biggest hug ever.

Micah and I have been together for 1 year and a half. He and I have been friends since 2nd grade and then in the middle of 7th grade he asked me to be his girlfriend now I'm in the 9th grade and still with him. Mia's girlfriend is my childhood neighbor she moved here about 6 months ago and when they made eye contact it was literally love at fist site. Mia seems really happy with her and I am really happy with Micah... what could ruin it...?
