"Oh, fuck!" Rhea yells as we walk down the stairs

I held her from the front, walking backwards "Okay, you're fine" I say as I held her hands

"I'm fine?" She nods her head, humming sinisterly "You think I'm fucking fine? While your two fucking kids are squeezing the life out of me!" she yells at me

I just nod my head and look pass her at Sunday who mouths "Shut the fuck up" to me

I think I'll take that advice.

As we reach the last step, we take a break and she does deep breaths in and out.

We then moved toward the car, and I helped her in the passenger seat "Fuck" she says holding on to the handle connected to the roof of the car

"The nanny is on her way. I'll meet you there after" Sunday says handing me the go bags

I put the bag in the backseat and hop in the car, cautiously driving us to the hospital. After parking in the garage, I run to the entrance.

"My girlfriend is in labor, she needs a wheelchair!" I say to the first nurse I see

They rush and grab a wheelchair and I lead them back to my car. Where Rhea was groaning loud as hell.

"I think one of them is coming" she says as we rush inside and the doctor comes out and helps us to a delivery room

I help Rhea take off her clothes and put on the hospital gown. The doctor then comes in to assess Rhea.

She asks her a number of questions before looking between her legs.

Alright, what kind of freaky shit she on?

"Okay, you are six centimeters dilated. You are in the active stage of labor. Meaning the contractions are more painful and longer lasting, but you got this mama" The doctor says

I nod my head watching as the doctors continue to prep Rhea.

She was a mess.

And every time the doctor would make note of something she send a glare my way. What the fuck I do?

"I think I need to push" Rhea groans

The doctor shakes her head "It's not time yet your only six centimeters" she says

"How many centimeters she needs in order to push?" I ask

The doctor looks at me "Ten" She says

"How long does it take to get to ten?" I ask

"It varies. It might be four hours at the least and eight hours at the most" She says

"Eight hours?!" Rhea shrieks

Gulp.

The doctor sympathizes with Rhea giving her encouraging words. I grab her hand, rubbing along her fingers.

"Okay, were going to give you the epidural now" The doctor says

I move away from the bed and let watch as the nurse and doctors help Rhea up. They then continue to inject her with what I was guessing the medicine.

After they were finished, they let me go back to her.

"It should kick in any minute now. I will have a resident doctor here to assist when needed, and to update me on your progress. The next time I see you we will be bringing two more joys into the world" she smiles at us

I smile back at her and then look down at Rhea as I kissed her head.

As the hours passed, Sunday had joined us. We all sat around in the delivery room.
