As Alexis is out getting ready to head out she gets stopped by Grenn.
"Hey! Where you heading off to so early?" Grenn asks.
"Oh just wanted to go out and explore. You know me." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Yeah I know. But stay safe out there. Don't need me or Cruz bailing you out of trouble with the Militia again." Grenn says.
"Yeah, yeah Grenn. I know. I'll be careful." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Good. We worry about you ya know." Grenn says with a smile.
"I know you do. I'll be fine. No worries. I'm a wolf shifter remember? I can handle a few monsters." Alexis says as she leaves.

As Alexis is walking in wolf form she soon stops near the beach hearing people shouting and sees Adol one of the new arrivals in town with a green glowing cuff attaching his wrist to the wrist of Karja the Pirate Princess.
"What the? Is that mana?" Alexis asks quietly while staying hidden.
"Hey! Quit gawking and help! This spells trouble for us in more ways then you can count! Either we get these off or I'm sending you back with one less hand! Got that!?" Karja shouts as she looks at Adol.
"Yeesh. She isn't exactly friendly. Though she is a Norman." Alexis says quietly as she watches the two try everything they can to get the cuffs off but have no luck.
"No luck. Might as well be a curse of some kind. Hate to say it but my old man's probably the only person we can turn to at this point." Karja says.
"Where is your dad?" Adol asks.
"Couldn't even begin to guess. What a mess. They call you Adol right? We'll have to stick together for a while unless you fancy me loppin you off at the wrist. My name is Karja. Karja Balta. Daughter of Grimson Balta. Jarl of the Balta Seaforce. Come on. I need to report to the post at by the harbor so don't fall behind." Karja says as she and Adol walk off.
*Timeskip*
Alexis watches from nearby behind some crates as Karja and Adol talk to Gunnar after Karja freaks out some people due to her being feared as the Pirate Princess and hear they won't be able to help get the mana cuffs off.
"Spend the rest of my day in Carnac huh? I'll admit I never had the opportunity to do that before." Karja says.
"You actually plan to follow his orders?" Adol asks.
"For now at least. Forget it. The two of us are moving as one for now." Karja says as a person shouts in alarm seeing her.
"I need to meet with the local Militia." Adol says.
"Why them?" Karja asks.
"I got business to take care of... But first..." Adol says.
"What? You got a problem? Spit it out already." Karja says annoyedly as Alexis shifts to human form but stays hidden behind some crates.
"We need to get you some new clothes." Adol says.
"What? Why? I don't dress all that differently from any other Norman so what are you getting at?" Karja says irritatedly as Alexis begins to come out of hiding.
"The townsfolk are freaking out. It may help you blend it better." Adol says as he and Karja don't notice Alexis yet.
"Oh fine. I suppose I see your point. But in which case just where do you plan on even getting me a new outfit?" Karja asks annoyedly.
"I believe I can help with that." Alexis says as Karja and Adol notice her.
"Huh? Hey you're that wolf shifter girl the Militia has trouble with sometimes." Karja says as Alexis nods.
"Yeah that's me. I'm Alexis Hathaway to be more specific. But I believe I can help with the clothing issue." Alexis says.
"Were you spying on us?" Karja asks irritatedly.
"Observing is the word I'd like to use. But I do it out of curiosity more than anything. But none the less follow me. I can help with getting you some new clothes." Alexis says.
"How?" Karja asks.
"I got a friend who can assist you." Alexis says kindly as she smiles.
"Come on Karja." Adol says.
"I'm coming, I'm coming. Ugh. I can't believe I'm doing this." Karja says as she grumbles and follows Alexis with Adol.
