Author's note: This is heavily inspired by Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie MorningStar from Hazbin Hotel. This is also an AU I'm working on. No, it's not a Hazbin Hotel AU, but I am thinking about it.

"Once upon a time, deep in the Playtime Co. Toy Factory, there was an area protected by a dome called PlayCare. It was inhabited by the Smiling Critters. CatNap was one of these Smiling Critters. He was a dreamer, with amazing ideas for creation. However, he was seen as an outcast by the other critters. Because they thought his way of thinking was dangerous for their big project. So he watched as they expanded it in their ways."

"From thousands of pixels and a special type of ink, Hosa and Lullaby were created. Equals as the first Pure-Toons, but despite this, Hosa demanded control and Lullaby refused to submit to him. She fled the Toon World."

"Drawn in by her independence, CatNap found her and the two dreamers fell in love. Together, they worked to encourage the idea of free will with all the other Pure-Toons. They offered a special type of gift to Hosa's wife, Angie. This gift, however, was a curse. Because of this single act of disrespect, The Prototype managed to obtain full control of PlayCare. As punishment for their reckless act, CatNap and Lullaby were cast out of PlayCare and into the Dark Zone that they created. Not allowing them to see the good of Pure-Toons, only the cruel and wicked."

"Ashamed, CatNap lost his will to dream, but Lullaby thrived. She empowered the Dark Zone of the Toon World with her voice and her songs. As the numbers of the Dark Zone grew, so did her power."

"Threatened by this, The Prototype made a truly heartless decision. Every year, he would send down an army. An extermination. So that the Dark Zone would never rise against him...."

"But Lullaby's hope of freedom and peace remained. And her dream was passed down to their precious daughter, Lilac Starbright."

A pastel purple furred cat closed the book. She held a key in her paws as she looked at a framed picture of her and her parents. She spoke in a soft tone. Her voice had a Mexican accent to it.

"Don't worry Madre. I'll make you proud..."

"Uhh, L.S?"
