As I walk to the cemetery, I felt the wind blowing away my hair and making the leaves scatter. I held the bouquet of white roses closer to me, afraid that the petals will fall off. I got closer and closer to the grave I came here for. I noticed that its surroundings are clean, it must have been Kyle. I kneeled on one knee and placed the roses next to it.

I touched the surface of her grave, feeling the cold, hard stone.
"Hey, baby." I whispered. "How are you? Don't worry about me, okay? I'm doing fine."
I felt a tear slid down my cheek. I still can't forget her. I'm still crying every night after she died. It hurt so much, she's the only woman I've ever love like this.
"Landon is starting his new job as a manager today at their new branch. Natalie is at her senior year in high school." I said, feeling myself smile. "She's actually nervous because it'll be her last year before she go to college and choose her future career."
This morning, Natalie was having an anxiety attack—teenagers and their imaginations. I shook my head at the memory. I sat down because my knee is starting to hurt due to my position. I continued to caress her stone as I calmly feel my environment. Today is a good day.
"Selene," I started, "remember when we first met? You spilled your coffee at me and it's still a bit hot. You always apologize whenever we see each other. Remember when you found out that we were on the same college? You told me you were really happy about it for no reason. Remember when we had a spring ball? I asked you to be my date and you agreed. Remember when we always walk to school together because your house is across mine? Your dad always watches us go. Remember when I asked you to come to our game and watch me play? I kissed you after that and your face was really red.
"Remember when I came after you the next day 'cause you won't talk to me? That was the day you told me that you're in love with me, and I asked you to be my girlfriend. Remember when we had our first date together? It was kind of awkward but we had fun. Remember when I got you a puppy on your birthday? We saw a pet shop the other day and you instantly liked the cute, white dog. Remember when I've got you home late one night? I got a long speech from your dad and you explained to him that we were doing a project. Remember when I fell on the pool and you tried to help me up? I pulled you down and we find it funny.
"Remember when we had our first fight? You got mad at me because I've forgotten our anniversary. That's also how we found out that I needed glasses 'cause I wasn't able to read the time and date. I had a hard time making it up to you, but you're worth it. You're worth everything. Remember when Craig was hitting on you and I got into a fight with him? That was my first time to had a fist fight and almost gotten expelled if it weren't for you. Remember when one of your friends tried flirting with me? You cried that night because you thought I'm going to leave you for her. I consoled you and on that night happened our first time.
"Remember when we graduated and you said that you're going to New York to pursue your dream of being a fashion designer? I surprised you and said that I was going to be a professional photographer. We went to New York and we've been working together in some projects. Remember when we skated during winter? We took a lot of pictures and put it in a photo album. Remember when you've bought a panda jacket for me? I also bought a rabbit one for you and our friends told us that we're the cutest couple ever. Remember when I surprised you and prepared a romantic dinner beside the shore during our vacation on my family's private resort? I proposed to you and I was really afraid you'd say no, but you didn't. I cried and I told you how much I love you.
"Remember when our big day came? You're so beautiful on your wedding gown. And as your dad give you away, he made a speech again. He said that I should take care of you and never make you cry, or he'll come after me and bury me alive. When we said our vows, and the priest told me I may now kiss you, I whispered 'I love you' before I pressed my lips against yours. Remember when we had Landon? I didn't let you do the chores 'cause I don't want you and him get tired. Remember when had our first Christmas with him? I dressed him like Santa Claus and you took our picture together. Remember when he started his first day at school? You were having a nervous breakdown 'cause you're scared of what might happen to him. I kissed you deep to make you relax, and surprisingly, it did.
"Remember when Natalie came? We were so happy because we finally had a daughter. Landon was excited to become a big brother already. Remember when he brought his first girlfriend home? I didn't interrupt because you're already giving them "the talk". Remember when we find out that you have cancer? I didn't want you to see me cry so I cried outside instead. I couldn't bear the thought of losing you. Remember when you're already having a hard time moving? You were worried about me 'cause I might break down from tiredness. Remember when we were strolling down the beach? We took a rest for a while and you said you wanted to sleep for a couple of minutes.
"You didn't wake up again. If you were still here, you would've seen how much broken our family had been. But I made a promise with you that I'll take care of our children. So, I slowly fixed myself. I didn't forget you, sometimes I'm still crying and Natalie or Landon will accompany me. I will tell them how we met and how our story began. They never get tired of it."
I stopped as I felt myself crying now. I wiped my eyes, and speak once more.
"Don't worry, okay? We're alright, although the kids miss you." I noticed that it's going to be dark soon. "Well, I got to go. I'll come again as soon as I can. See you soon, my love."
I got up and walk away to my car.
"I love you, Selene, forever and always..."
