So this is what Daniel looks like in my imagination. Hope it clears things a lot as to what his personality is. :) There may be some grammatical mistakes and I apologize for that. Keep reading and enjoy :)

You cannot escape from me. You cannot hide forever Dan. I will come for you. I will find you Daniel....

Words kept echoing in my mind again and again and my brain was going all numb because of that voice. A voice that I had feared the most in this entire world, a voice that was now a haunting memory of my past. But apart from that it was this voice only that reminded me of HIM.

As the bright light penetrated through the partially opened window I groaned and shielded my face. Looking at my bandaged hands I realised that whatever happened yesterday was all real. Once again I was bruised, hurt and more than that I was in pain.

I removed the covers and tried to make my way towards the bathroom. But as my feet made contact with the cold floor beneath , a shiver racked up through my spine igniting the pain in my body as well. I stumbled a little but gained control. My whole body was in pain but I knew one thing I couldn't let myself be consumed in that pain again.I had to ensure it no matter I had to fulfil that promise I made to HIM. Because that was the only reason for me to live and a lesson too that life had taught me for survival.

I turned on the shower and stood there. I looked into the mirror and stared at myself. My eyes landed on the particular place on my face that had a fresh deep cut and was now swollen and purplish blue which instantly clicked in my mind yesterday's incident like a movie.

Flashback

I arranged all the files in the rack and headed towards Mrs. Richardson's cabin. She told me that as always she had received a positive feedback for my work and she was happy that was why I could take a day's off. She also asked me a favour to collect the payment from the client's house. I thought for a minute and agreed as I never do anything special on weekends so yeah I thought I could go and do it the next day.

I left the office and quickly made my way towards the cafe which was just round the corner. It was my usual place. I have spent a lot of time there. The fact that belonged to my best friend made the feeling more intense. That place was always like a second home to me.

Just as I was about to reach there my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and saw. It was a call from my previous employee Mr. Anthony Carter, a middle aged 47 years old business man and the client from whom I was supposed to collect the payment next day. So there wasn't any way I was not taking that call so I answered. But I was surprised he had my number as I never gave it to him but to his wife.

"Hello Daniel this side."

"Hey Daniel, its Arthur here."

"Hello Mr. Carter. How are you Sir ?"

"Oh I am perfectly fine dear. How are you ?"

"I am good Sir."

"Ah Daniel I have a favour to ask you. I am sure Mrs. Richardson must have told you about my problem of online transfer for payment."
