Author's pov....

Jes waited outside the school for his son to show up ... But he can clearly see other kids mom eyeing him and gossiping about him and valentine...

Jes:"You guys know right that I can clearly hear you guys gossiping about me and I'm hearing it ... What you guys actually want huh?... It's about my wife right she is dead ... And I'm single parent for your reference..." Jes stood back at his position without giving a fuck to their gaze...

Just then a school bell rang and kids ran out towards their parents while jes looked valentine walking out with a long face ...

Jes:"Hey champ over here ..." Jes waved his hands towards valentine who walked passing his dad without a words ...

Jes run behind his son before carrying him in his hand ... Valentine is not in a mood to fight with jes he lay down on his shoulder mumbling something which jes can't hear clearly ...

Jes:"How was your day little champ did you miss dad ?... You know today in college a student gave a chocolate box just for their little champ and told me not to touch it ..." Valentine keep looking outside the window while jes signed focusing on the road...

Once they reach the apartment valentine walked towards his room before shuting his door behind leaving jes dumbfounded...

Jes:"Hey champ open the door let's get fresh up and How about dada order pizza, hot dogs and doughnuts and fried chickens ..." Valentine open door with a wide smile after hearing fired chicken...

Valentine:"Really you going to order everything i like today dada just order soon na I'm hungry..." Jes can't believe that his son could be this foodie guy ...

Jes:"I thought you were mad at dada and thought of dropping out the idea of ordering outside but you're lucky ...when did you turn into this foodie guy?..." Jes ticklish valentine before carrying him on his shoulder walking towards bathroom...

Later at night jes stood by balcony sipping his drinking and glancing at valentine who sleeping soundly...His smile wiped out of his face thinking what to answer when his son started to shoot a question about his mom ...

Jes:"How long I'm going to cheat on him and cheat myself with all the lies ...One day i have to broke the silence that I have kept inside myself for all these seven years... " Jes took a deep breath when his phone to ring ...

Job:"Hey jes ...Having fun without me huh?... Come on man we should give ourselves some piece of mind sometimes and what is the little champ doing did he fall asleep ?..." Jes rolled his eyes because job doesn't let him answer his questions...

Jes:"Will you stop questioning me job...Do you want me to answer you or not come man ... I'm already fucked up badly with valentine behaviour and I don't know how I'm going to face him and answer to all his questions this thing sucks for real..." Jes leaned behind the wall with a heavy sigh...

Job:"Don't you think it's time for him to know about his mama?... I'm sorry if I'm crossing my line jes but as a colleague and your friend I care about you dude ... I know you for seven years when you moved here and that's all I know about you jes and you don't open up to anyone about your wife and your personal life too ... But Valentine has all the rights to know about his mama..." Jes hummed in response thinking about job words...

Jes:"Your correct job I will open up with him soon ... So why did you call me ?... Is anything important related to tomorrow's staff meeting?..." Jes gulped down the wine before walking inside the bedroom...

Job:"Not at all jes don't drag those meeting things towards me it sucks man ... I just called if Saturday valentine would have leave I want to spend time with him after all I'm his favourite uncle..." Jes chuckled at job words ...Job is correct jes don't allow valentine to someone other than a job...

Jes:"Yeah it's the second Saturday there is no school for him either we will meet do you want me to pick up your job?..." Job denied the offer saying we will pick them from their apartment...

At morning jes bathed valentine before wiping his body with a towel...He just wrapped him before spanking his bum playfully...Once he arranged the breakfast at the table he watched valentine laying down on the floor glaring at his dad...

Jes:"What do you want little champ?..." Jes already knows the questions and still wants to listen from his son...

Valentine:"I'M WANT MOMMY .... EVERYONE IS HAVING MOMMY RIGHT?...THEN WHY VALENTINE DON'T HAVE MOMMY DAD..." Jes kept quiet looking at his son who was laying on the floor throwing trauma's...

Jes:"BECAUSE GOD WANT'S MOMMY NA... THAT'S WHY HE TOOK HER AND STOP BEING A BRAT KID HAVE YOUR BREAKFAST..." Valentine don't get convinced by his dad's words...

Valentine:"Then why is there no single photo of mommy in our house dad?... Just show me mommy's photo frame I want to look at her and know how she looks because you every time give me an excuse today I want to look at her ...

You know at school my friends keep teasing and asking for mom's name and i don't know her name too dada ... For all parents teachers meeting you only showing up I hate it ... I want mommy to attend the meeting and she has to know how I'm studying right ?..." Jes lost his control because he can't answer all those questions because he doesn't have an answer for this question...

Jes:"I DON'T HAVE ANSWER FOR YOUR QUESTIONS VALENTINE JESPIPAT... DID YOU HEAR ME I DON'T HAVE DAMN ANSWERS FOR QUESTIONS AND I DON'T WANT TO ANSWER YOU YOUNG MAN.... BECAUSE SHE JUST THROWED YOU AWAY VALENTINE...SHE DON'T LOVE YOU ..." Jes took his bag before walking out leaving valentine alone at house ...

Valentine:"She threw me away ?... But why did she throw me because I'm not beautiful or something?..." Did she hate me?...That's why she doesn't come back for once ?..." Valentine keep standing at the position while tears rolled down his cheeks...

Bible:"ARE YOU ALONE?...WHERE IS YOUR PARENTS BEEN?...DID THEY FELT YOU HERE AND WENT SOMEWHERE?...WHAT IS YOUR NAME ?..." Bible placed his hands on his pocket waiting for a response from a little boy ...

Valentine:"My name is valentine... I'm seven years old... I just ran away from home because my dad said that my mom doesn't love me and she threw me away because I'm not beautiful..." Bible was taken back by valentine's word while he looked at bas who was stunned to speak ...
