In the car
Mark - at first let's go to the doctor. After that I'll take you home hmm?
Sook - *leaning & looking out of window* no I wanna go home
Mark - but you're sick you should-
Sook - *sighed & closed eyes* I just wanna go home. & Please I don't wanna talk about it anymore
Hearing it mark decided not to pressure her. He went silent. But after some moments he again spoke up
Mark - I called you since yesterday you didn't even pick my calls or replied to my messages. I mean yeah I accept my mistake. I'm sorry, I'll not do that again. But can you please not break our friendship?
Sook - I didn't break our friendship. If I would have then I wouldn't be sitting here right now
Mark - that means we're still friends right?
Sook - hmm
Hearing it mark released a sigh of relief. After that there were no conversation between them. The car ride was in a peaceful silence
After reaching home mark brought her inside the house & called out
Mark - excuse me! Is there anyone here! uncle aunty!
Hearing his shouts mrs Kim came to the living room & after seeing mark holding a paled faced sook she hurriedly came forward to them. She asked mark with a worried tone
Mrs Kim - who are you & what happened to my sook?
Mark - *bowed* I'm mark, sook's friend. She's sick so I came to drop her off
Mrs kim - sick!?
Mrs kim held sook's arm tenderly & asked
Mrs kim - what happened sook tell me.
Sook - nothing much eomma. Can you please take me to the room. I'm tired I want to lye down
Mrs kim - ok let's go
Mark - um aunty then I'm leaving
Mrs kim - oh I'm sorry I couldn't even interact with you properly
Mark - no no it's ok
Mrs kim - but remember to come some other day ok? I'll tell sook to invite you
Mark - ok sure *bowed* bye aunty & bye sook. Call me when you feel a little better & if anything goes wrong, aunty please inform me
Mrs kim - *small smile* ok
Mark gave a small smile back. Waved at sook & left from there. Mrs kim took sook to her room & made her lie down on the bed
Mrs kim - did you eat anything? *She nodded in no*ok I'm making some healthy soup for you. After eating it take some nap. Then you'll feel better
Sook wanted to deny but knew that her mother isn't gonna listen & she was too tired to argue with her. So she nodded in yes. Mrs kim walked out of the room by closing the door behind. After Mrs kim left, the tears that she was holding from long time started pouring like rain water. She turned to the right side, hugged a pillow & buried her mouth on it to prevent any sob from coming out. After sometimes when she heard footsteps she hurriedly wiped her tears & composed herself. Mrs kim entered with a bowl of soup with spoon, placed on a tray. She came to the bed, sat down & told her
