Third Person POV
Zee's eyes lingered on Nunew, still processing the revelation about his son Zachary and his daughter Zeen. As they discussed business, Zee's mind wandered to their past.
Seven years ago, Zee and Nunew's whirlwind romance captivated Bangkok's social scene. Their love was fierce, but their differences proved insurmountable. The divorce left scars, and Zee threw himself into building Thompson Industries.
Nunew, however, seemed to vanish. Zee often wondered what had become of his former husband.
Now, Nunew sat across from him, exuding confidence. Zee sensed a new aura surrounding Nunew, one that included his mysterious son and daughter.
As they concluded their meeting, Nunew mentioned his business partner, Ryder. Zee's curiosity piqued.
"Ryder?" Zee repeated. "Your business partner?"
Nunew nodded. "Yes, we've built a successful marketing firm together."
Zee's mind raced. Was Ryder more than just a partner?
The next day, Zee requested a meeting with Ryder, eager to understand Nunew's new life.
Ryder arrived, charming and charismatic. Zee's instincts screamed that Ryder was connected to Nunew's children.
As they discussed business strategies, Zee probed Ryder about his relationship with Nunew.
"We've been friends since college," Ryder replied. "Nunew's like a brother to me."
Zee's eyes narrowed. Friends? Or something more?
The uncertainty gnawed at Zee. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Ryder was hiding something.
Over the next few weeks, Zee, Nunew, and Ryder worked together, their professional dynamics charged with unspoken tensions.
Zee found himself drawn to Nunew again, but the mystery surrounding his children and Ryder's involvement kept him at arm's length.
Nunew, too, seemed hesitant, as if guarding secrets.
Ryder, ever the charmer, navigated their complex relationships with ease.
As Thompson Industries' projects progressed, Zee's feelings for Nunew resurfaced. But the uncertainty surrounding his children and Ryder's involvement left him questioning everything.
One evening, Zee invited Nunew and Ryder to dinner, hoping to unravel the mystery.
As they sat down, Zee asked, "Nunew, tell me about Zachary and Zeen. What are they like?"
Nunew's eyes sparkled. "They're my world, Zee. Smart, kind, and full of energy."
Ryder smiled, his gaze locked onto Nunew. "The kids adore their dad."
Zee's heart skipped a beat. The way Ryder looked at Nunew...
"Ryder, you're very close to Nunew and the kids," Zee ventured.
Ryder's expression turned guarded. "We're family, Zee."
Zee's instincts screamed that Ryder was hiding something. But what?
As the dinner concluded, Zee walked Nunew and Ryder out of the restaurant. The evening air was filled with the sounds of the city, but Zee's mind was consumed by questions.
"Nunew, can I ask you something?" Zee said, his voice low.
Nunew turned to him. "Of course, Zee."
"About Ryder... and the kids," Zee ventured. "Is there something I should know?"
