Prologue

I was about to open the door of my room, when suddenly someone grabbed me by my shoulder, and made me face. And saw my mom angrily looking at me, greeting her teeth in anger. I gulped. And my heart starts to banging loudly. 

I'm just looking at her emotionless, but inside of me, a scared person was hiding beneath it. 

"What is-" a hard slapped landed on my face, before I could say a word. I touch the cheek that  was being slapped by my mother. It was painful but, I still managed to hide the pain. I looked at her still maintaining my emotionless face. 

"What's with the slap mother?" I asked with baritone. Maintaining my cool, despite losing the verge of it. 

"Are you stupid? Or just dumb?!" she asked, annoyingly, raising her voice. "Why did you do that? You know you will lose your place as the next king?!" she raised her left brow. Looking directly to my eyes with the eyes of full of angriness. 

I laughed sarcastically, making my mothers brows furrowed. 

"I'm not dumb mother, I know what I'm doing. No need to worry." I said calmly, assuring her. 

She rolled her eyes. "Just make sure this won't affect your position, Luke!" she warned, and left. 

I sighed. And open the big door. I walked towards my bed. And immediately threw myself there. I closed my eyes, and immediately sleep. 

I slowly open my eyes, when the sun rays hits my face. The smile formed on my face. I up myself from laying down on my bed and stretch my arms. 

Gosh, I wish my life is like ray of sun, bright...

I was about to sleep again, when someone knocked my door.  

"Kamahalan, pinapatawag ka po ng inyong amang hari! Sa kanyang kwarto." sabi ng isang tao sa likod ng pintong 'yon. 

"Sabihin mo papunta na!" I immediately stood up. Sinuot ang damit kung kulay asul na elagante ang dating. 

I opened the door, walking faster patungo sa kwarto ng aking ama. 

As I walked in the hallway. The color of walls, the furniture, and the design of the palace, never failed to amaze me, even I live here for many years. The vibrant color of gold make the whole palace more attractive. 

My smile formed, and the small tears flow in my checks. This is the only thing that comforts me. The only thing that is good in this palace...the only thing that could make me feel safe. 

Nasa pinto na ako ng aking ama. I inhale large amount of air. Making sure to ready myself, before knocking the door. When I was about to knock, when suddenly my father speak.

"Pumasok kana, alam kung nandyan ka." malamig na saad ng aking ama. 

Pumasok na ako at nakita ko ang aking ama na galit na galit. But I act normally as if I didn't saw his anger face.

"Why did you called me father?" I asked with my baritone voice, maintaining my calm aura, despite the heavy aura that my father has. 

"Your brother did something wrong. I need your help." he said. 

"What help do you need father?" I asked, although I already know what he's going to ask. 

"I need you to find the guy named Leon." he said coldly, putting his hands inside his pocket. Making an irritated face. 

I sighed and nodded. "Give me the picture of that person you wanted to find." I said. he handed me a picture of guy. Tinignan ko ito at nakita ang litrato ng  lalaki. 

The guy is beautiful and handsome at the same time. He looks like a Fox. Parang mas maganda pa ito kaysa sa totoong babae. 

I lifted up my head facing my father's face again. "Ano ba ginawa ng taong ito?" I asked my father who's now sitting in his table formally.

"That guy wrote something terrible about your brother's image." 

"Okay father I will do my best to find this guy. now I'll excuse myself." I said, excusing myself. Agad naman tumango ang aking ama. Kaya agad akong tumalikod. At naglakad paalis. 

Nang makalabas ako. Isang pilyong ngiti ang humulma sa aking labi. 

How dumb, Xavier. You're always ruining our family's image. Fuck! I always ended up being the one who always fix your problems. Fuck shit!

I brushed my hair from the frustrations. Nakakainis ako nalang palagi ang sumasalba sa imahe ng pamilyang ito! 

Gusto ko nang kumawala, pero alam kung ang pagiging hari ang kapalit. Ayaw kung lahat ng pinaghirapan ko ay mapupunta lang sa wala. I couldn't see a future still remaining as a prince. 

Agad akong naglakad papunta sa aking kwarto. Upang simulan ang paghahanap sa taong ito.
