SOPHONT SPECIES:

HUMANS
Description: Bipedal creatures with two arms and skin that comes in a wide range of shades of brown. Usually covered in hair, though this is often removed in most places except for the head. The color of this hair varies widely, and the same goes for eye color and skin pattern, all three of which can be genetically modified before birth.
Homeworld: Earth
Colonized planets and moons: Luna, Venus, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Enceladus, Neptune, Capricornica, Iktoparas, Nauticalia
Other names: space apes (derogatory), Homo sapiens (formal), Eburnean-Eyes (colloquial)

EVIORS
Description: The Eviors are a species adapted to the harsh climate of the desert, with large ears and crested heads to get rid of access heat. They have thick eyelashes and respiratory vents on their jawlines and on the small of their back, which keep sand from entering the lungs. Their skin is either golden yellow or pale blue, and is usually marked by small iridescent freckles which develop as they age to reflect small amounts of sunlight. They walk on their webbed toes to avoid sinking into deep sand, and each of their hands has two thumbs on either side.
Homeworld: Dœn
Colonized planets and moons: Oun (moon of Dœn)
Other names: big ears (derogatory), star-faced (derogatory), Golds (semi-derogatory, depending on context), Blues (semi-derogatory, depending on context)
