Shiro's POV

"You're just like him. Curses!"
"Your blood is a disgrace to this world."
"Bare his sufferings."
"Bare our sufferings."
"Bare it all alone."
"All alone"
"All alone"
"All alo-"

A light. I needed to reach it. I couldn't breathe. Help me. Please.

"Woah. Such a lively place.", said a familiar voice.

I looked up at the voice's owner. He bent down as he leaned closer to me. "Want me to help?"

Yes.. Yes! Yes please help me!

I tried to speak but my voice won't come out. I tried to scream and cry, yet there was nothing.

However, he seemed to have understood. He smirked as he pulled out a yellow paper and wrote something familiar on it with his finger using some supernatural powers.

"All my efforts would've went down the drain if you had said no. But.. I knew you were a good boy."

He crumbles the paper into a ball and keeps it in his fist, he chants incoherent words before the paper magically tears into a million tiny pieces. The particles then flew into his body, dissolving within him as they glowed.

He then lift his hand and flicked my forehead very hardly.

I woke up.

That was one crazy dream. I was drenched in my own sweat. As I was about to sleep, I saw a figure standing right in front of me.

It was the same dude from my dream. It was the same dude I saw hanging outside my class. It was the same dude who caught attention of the whole crowd that one time!

I knew there was something fishy about him.

"It's you again..", I said.

"Hello Shiro, how are you doing?"

He smirked, as if he already knew the answer to that.

"What the hell did you just do in my dreams?? How did you get in my room??"

"Woah there buddy! One at a time please!", he said as he chuckled.

"I sense very strong spiritual energy from you. However, a huge part of that energy are from evil spirits that seem to be clinging on you."

"..Evil spirits..?" My eyes widened. Though it sounded like a bunch of nonsense to me, I was getting goosebumps.

"Yes, evil spirits. Or in this case, it's probably better to call them a curse. This curse is the cause of all the nightmares you've been having."

He looked right on my eyes before walking closer towards me. He sat on the edge of my bed.

"So I performed a ritual that created a bond between our souls."

"A ritual..? And how is that supposed to help?" I tilted my head to the side in confusion.

"To put it simply, I will be able to help you get rid of the curse... And you will never be able to get rid of me~!"  His tone sounded flirty which slightly annoyed me. He seemed to be very confident and nonchalant about this situation, which annoyed me even more.

"We have to perform another ritual to remove this curse. But.."

There was a pause. He had a sly look on his face, which already made me decide my answer.

"You'll have to help me first. Then only I'll help yo-!!"
    "No."

I covered myself with my blanket before trying to fall asleep again. I would rather suffer with curses or whatever then to be stuck with this dude.

"Fine. You leave me no choice. I was planning to save my energy for the mission but I guess it's worth wasting some on you."

He snapped his finger. And before I knew it, I was standing on some surface instead of lying down on my bed. My feet had slippers on them. The cold night breeze hit my body, sending shivers down my spine.

I opened my eyes, I was not in my room anymore. I saw two familiar people in front of me. One was Rizuki and the other was her.. friend I think.

I sigh.

"Sorry for the delay. Oh hey Rizuki!"

He waved. She waved back at him.

"Hey Kaito. I didn't know Shiro was coming too..."

I didn't know I was coming either.
