Colin
School was never my stronghold. But I always had passing grades. I look up at the clock, 11:10. Only five more minutes until the lunch bell rang. I pack up my things in my bag and wait for the bell to ring. "Colin, why are you packed up we still have 3 minutes of class lef-" The bell cuts the teacher off as I stand up and walk out of the class, Heading to the cafeteria to meet up with milo. I look around the cafeteria for milo. Suddenly I feel a hand grip my shoulder and turn me around. "Hey buddy" milo grins. I scoff and shake my head, trying to hide the small smile creeping into my serious features. " hi milo" I say as I look around to lunch room.
"so how did your test go?" milo questioned
"I think i passed"
"ah, your not in the mood to talk" milo states, noting my disinterest. He's always been able to read me like a book. Most people couldn't escape milo's friendliness , But he always gave me grace when I want some peace and quiet.
"sorry milo, i'm just exhausted" I huff
"understandable, kade wants me to meet her in the food line. I'll be right back with her" milo pats my back and walks to the lunch lines. My head rests on the table as I take a moment to gather myself, I'm not ready to hear Kade's squeaky voice as she yaps about her girl drama and boy problems. Kade and Milo sit down next to me, Kade keeps talking to Milo about god knows what while I tune everything out. I know Kade's mad at me because we got into a heated argument this morning. I can feel her eyes burning into me so i lift my head up to look at her.
"what?"
"are you really not going to apologize to me?!" she insists
"no"
"I hate you" she says frustrated with my response
"that's not what you said last night"
That catches milo's attention as he whips his head up from his phone and looks at colin and kade with wide eyes
"WHAT?!" milo whisper yells
"shut up! I'm going to class" kade groans in annoyance as she stands up and starts walking away. Milo snickers and a smirk makes his way onto colin's face as he sees kade stomp away.
"so are you guys together" milo questions
"no, I told her i'm not into the whole relationship thing as she just got pissed and started yelling at me"
milo frowns
"so basically like every other time she asked you to be in a relationship with her"
"yep" I nod my head and stand up, heading to my last class of the day.
"why do you guys keep hooking up then?" milo tilts his head
"because we had a mutual agreement, I guess some of us can't stick to our word" colin huffs
"maybe you guys should stop- I mean is it really worth all the arguments?"
"I've thought about it, but idk" colin grimaces as he imagines the argument that would come with that. Milo also gets up and they walk to class together, Both parting ways once they get to Milo's class. Colin heads to his gym class, pondering on what he should do.
