I Won't Be Coming

"I won't be coming."

Jungkook's smile faded as soon as those words reached his ears. The fact that he has been waiting to see the brunet's face for weeks and taehyung just broke his hopes with just one word, had him feeling blue.

"J-jungkook?"

Taehyung's brows furrowed when he got no reply from the other side, almost leaving him with bated breath.

"Yes, baby...I'm... Listening." Taehyung's smile returned when the ravenette decided to speak after a long pause.

"I thought I lost you on the line." A grimace of confusion took over the brunet's face when the line went dead again.

"Why aren't you coming back?" Taehyung's eyes widened slightly as he registered his husband's voice which sounded almost lifeless.

"Jungkook-"

"Do you miss me?" Taehyung felt a pang in his heart when the ravenette whispered those words.

"I'm missing you so bad that I wanna run to you right now." Jungkook's lips broke into a huge smile as the life in his eyes came back at the brunet's words.

"Why aren't you here already? I'm dying to see you baby. " Taehyung bit back his smile that appeared on his timid face.

It's been two years already but his husband's love for him doesn't seem to dwindle, not even in slightest bit. Him being grumpy over not seeing him for literally three weeks had him feel over the moon.

"I wish I can." Deep crease formed in between the ravenette's narrowed brows as taehyung trailed off.

"What do you mean?"

"Jungkook.... I'm off to Paris tomorrow...and will be staying there for the next week. Remember? You scheduled a meeting with Alice's father... And since you can't be here, l'll have to fill it up. " Taehyung could hear his husband curse himself and he couldn't help giggle when he heard him cussing the old man as well.

" Fuck it! I wish I could re-schedule it." Jungkook stopped whatever he was saying when he heard the brunet's little laugh from the other side, which sounded like a soft melody to his ears.

"Fuck, I miss your giggles." Taehyung stayed silent, cheeks already tinted red.

"I miss you to-" Taehyung yelped when his phone got snatched away by the girl who approached him from behind.

"I'm missing you too. In fact, more than this little guy right here. But you're not giving me a chance. How sad it is." Heaving a big sigh, the woman on her five inch heels exclaimed.

"Alice." Jungkook had to roll his eyes even though she can't see his face expressions.

"The one who's been waiting for you? Yes." Taehyung cracked a smile while he  listened to their as usual conversation, patiently.

The fact that these two would always act like tom and Jerry and would always work together at the same time had left taehyung amused. While jungkook runs after his work, she would run after him. But taehyung never felt jealous since he knew Alice very well as she always cared about taehyung and his married life.

Alice always has been Taehyung's best friend ever since he met her at the party. Since then, these two became in-separated.

"Whatever you say, daddy." Taehyung nudged her shoulder, making her roll her eyes out.

"Excuse me? I'm still here." Taehyung's little playful glare had Alice smirking.

"Don't worry Mr. Jeon, I'll send your little wifey back once our meetings done."
