Meeting in Paris

Part Thirteen

     And after Nadia entered her apartment after her return from the conference, her mind was distracted from meeting Albert Camus at the conference and sitting next to her, and their hands touched and even intertwined, which made Nadia very happy, but what made her in a state of constant anxiety was the appearance of Albert Camus in her dreams, but today she met him in reality, and this was not a dream, but was awake , at the same time,

        Magda saw the exhaustion very clearly on Nadia 's face. Magda went to the kitchen and brought a cup of iced lemonade that she had prepared a while ago.  

    Magda presented the cup of juice to Nadia.

  Nadia took the cup of juice and drank from it little by little, then the conversation began between them.

Magda: Nadia, what happened today at the conference?

Nadia: Nothing, today was good, but?

Magda: But what?

Nadia: But something serious happened, I don’t know if it happened truth or was it fiction?

Magda: If it is in reality or if it is imagination, what is this? The thing?

Nadia: Magda looked at me and said, “Please, I can’t , I would like to talk to you now, but please, Magda help me to my room because I want to sleep     My nerves relax and my mind relaxes from thinking.

       Magda actually helped Nadia to her room and changed Nadia's clothes for home clothes, then Nadia went to the bed, threw her body on it, closed her eyes, and rested in peace. A deep sleep, and when Magda saw this, she spread the bed cover over Nadia and closed the room door, then sat in front of the television watching Egyptian channels.   

        At eight o'clock in the evening, Nadia woke up in good condition and had regained her vital activity.

     Then she went to the bathroom and took a warm shower. Then she sat in front of the woman and combed her hair. Then she got up and put on a pink nightgown, and her robe, and went out to the hall. Magda in the kitchen.

       Nadia went to Magda in the kitchen as she was preparing dinner, and the food had a distinctive smell, which made Nadia enjoy this smell Nadia:  my God, how beautiful is this smell, Magda?

Magda: She smiles and looks at Nadia and finds her in better condition      From what she had to do before she went to sleep, she said you've woken up, Nadia, and I'm happy for you    Because you have returned to your natural state and have become more energetic.

Nadia: Indeed, Magda, I was extremely physically exhausted       And mentally too, but leave that now, I'm hungry very .

Magda: She laughed and said, “I know that , I have prepared it. Good food for you.

Nadia: Really, and what is this food?

Magda: Grilled fish with salad, as well as rice with turmeric , and the sweet jelly is red

Nadia: This is a beautiful thing, now let's go eat this food.  

       Magda prepared the dining table in a few minutes and the two sat down to eat dinner.

Magda: Nadia, now tell me what happened to you today?

Nadia: Magda, I don't know what's going on here in Paris, or before I come to attend the conference?

Magda: Talk about everything in detail and we will find an explanation for that thing.

Nadia: When I was in Egypt and before we came to Paris, I saw in a dream the face of someone I had never known before, and beautiful things happened between us in that dream.
