"let's go" said Carl once every one was gone.
"Congrats man" said Matt.
"Thank you Carl" I said.
"Don't think I did this for free " he said
"..." I was completely speechless . I couldn't help but look at him completely puzzled.
"Jocking" he said on seeing my reaction.
"Come, I would love to introduce you to my team" said Carl as he grabbed my arm. " Am sure they'll be happy seeing her" said Matt.
"Hope you won't make a fuss out of it." said Carl.
We walked for some time till we reached Carl's quarters. "You'll be living here from now on " said Carl.
"Come here " someone pulled me away from Carl. It was a tall, slime, blonde lady looking to be a little older than me. She left me to a table where other people were sitted.
"Welcome princess" they all shouted.
I felt so happy for no one ever welcomed me this way. I might have been a princess but everyone never wanted me to be around them because they thought I was a witch who even killed my own mother.
Tears of happiness were threatening to soon come out of my eyes.
"Are you okay?" asked Carl noticing that I was off.
"Yah am fine" I said and put a huge smile.
" Time for introductions"said the lady who had pulled me away from Carl earlier.
"This is Ben, Linda, Suzan, Grey, Amber and am Lora ." she said introducing everyone around
"Come on let's did in am hungry " said Matt.
"Hey, slow down " said Lora.
"Welcome to the team Ivy" said Carl
"Let's celebrate " said Lora and the fun begun
