Life had settled into a beautiful rhythm for Serkan, Eda, and their little girl Leyla. Every day was filled with laughter, work, art, and love. They’d found their way back to each other, and after everything they’d been through, nothing could shake the deep bond they shared.

Eda’s art gallery had become a cherished part of their life, a space where she could bring her visions to life and share them with the world. And Serkan, with his thriving architecture firm, had grown even more dedicated to creating a lasting legacy for their family. But little did they know that another surprise was waiting just around the corner.

It started with a faint queasiness here and there, a little exhaustion that Eda attributed to her busy schedule. But as the days passed, the symptoms became more frequent and unmistakable. One morning, after feeling an undeniable flutter in her stomach, she decided to take a pregnancy test.

In the quiet of the bathroom, Eda waited, her heart pounding as she glanced down at the test in her hands. Slowly, a smile spread across her face as she read the result—positive. They were going to have another child.

That evening, Eda decided to surprise Serkan with the news. She set the dinner table with extra care, preparing his favorite meal. She watched the clock, feeling the anticipation building inside her. When Serkan walked through the door, a look of surprise crossed his face as he noticed the candle-lit table and Eda’s glowing smile.

“What’s the occasion?” he asked, walking over to her, his hands slipping around her waist.

“Oh, you’ll see,” she replied, trying to hold back a grin. They enjoyed a leisurely dinner, talking and laughing as always. Finally, Eda took a deep breath, feeling her heart race with excitement and nervousness.

“Serkan,” she said, reaching across the table to hold his hand. “There’s something I need to tell you.”

He looked at her with a curious smile, his fingers lacing with hers. “What is it?”

She took another breath, her eyes brimming with happiness. “We’re going to have a baby.”

For a moment, Serkan was speechless, his face a mix of surprise and joy. Then a wide grin spread across his face, and he laughed, pulling her into his arms. “Are you serious?” he asked, looking into her eyes to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

Eda nodded, her own smile brightening as she placed his hand gently on her stomach. “Yes, Serkan. Our family is growing.”

He held her close, pressing his forehead to hers, overcome with emotion. “Eda, this is… this is everything. Thank you,” he whispered, his voice filled with awe. “Thank you for being you, for giving me this family.”

They stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, the warmth of the moment enveloping them. It was a quiet, perfect joy, the kind that only comes when two people who have weathered life’s storms are given a new blessing.

Over the next few months, the news of their growing family brought even more light into their lives. Leyla was thrilled about the idea of becoming a big sister and took on the role with all the enthusiasm her young heart could hold. She insisted on helping decorate the nursery, filling it with her drawings and little toys she wanted to share with her new sibling.

Eda’s pregnancy brought both challenges and moments of reflection. She’d felt so sure of her purpose when she returned home, finding strength in her family and her work. But now, as she grew this new life within her, she felt herself becoming more deeply rooted in the present, cherishing the small moments that made up their days. Each kick, each flutter, was a reminder of the life they had built and the love that filled it.
