Three is a crowd

Chapter 2

Calebs POV:

It's okay, it's okay, don't freak out. Act like you didn't even see her. Act like you don't have a crush on her. It's only a new crush. Don't let her know. Play hard to get. She'll love that. I said all of these things to myself in my head, worrying that someone could secretly hear my thoughts I quickly stopped thinking about how perfect she was and got my math book out.

The teacher wasn't here yet and we were the only two people in the classroom. My thoughts started to return to how perfect she was. Her light brown hair and her beautiful green eyes......and her sense of humour, her laugh, her smile, the cute pouty face she gets when her friends won't give her food, yet she is still so skinny, but don't ever tell her that.

I decided to grow some balls and talk to the girl.
" Hey Kaidance " I said trying to sound as confident as I could.

" Hhh-h-i", she answered back hesitantly. She must like me alot. She almost quivers everytime I speak to her.

"You look so h- I mean pretty today", I chuckled trying to over my embarrassment.

She picked up some courage and I saw her sarcastic side come out next.

"Not to bad yourself hunny bunches", she said as confidently and sarcastically as she could muster.

" I really like you", I blurted out without even thinking.

*MENTAL F***ING FACE PALM*

She literally turned as red as a
tomato like bright red. She quickly looked away and didn't reply. Other people (ew) started to walk into class .

*Time skip 45 minutes*

I have never noticed the colour of the floor is so beautiful I thought to myself. I swear I ah e been staring at the same spot on the floor for ages. The way some of the blue tiles had faded and turned green and blended with the natural blue. It was just gorgeous. Wow I am turning into a girl.

*RRRIIINNNGGG*

And the first period of torture for the day is over. Our teacher is the first to leave followed by everyone else...leaving just me and Kaidance...

Kaidance POV:

Just calm yourself down. Maybe I can fake a seizure, faint, fart, bleed! ANYTHING!!!

"Do you want to go on a date this Friday night?", he asked me.

"Ummmmm", what do I say, what do I say.

"Sure", I try not to sound as nervous as I feel.

"Got to go, gonna be late for second period! Pick you up about 6 um beautiful" , he said as he exited.

I got throught period two, recess, period 3 and 4 fantasising about my date on Friday night, when it finally gets to lunch, I realise I still haven't told Carsen or Spencah!

I go to tell them but for some reason Spencah isn't there at lunch for the next three days. I tell Carsen and she is so happy for me. But I am worried about Spencah!

Thursday after 4th period at the start of lunch I see Spencah's bag moving through the hall and I follow her. When she is nearly to our spot I see her turn a corner to go to this segregated part of the school that everyone calls "the kissing rock". I follow her and when I turn the corner to the kissing rock I have a million thoughts running through my head.

Who is she meeting?

Who knows about this?

Why hasn't she told me?

Has she had her first kiss already!

These are things normal 15 year olds discuss with their bestfriends.

I turn the corner and to my horror she is pinned up against the wall.

And Caleb is kissing her!

He has his hand around her waist and she has her fingers running through his hair. I can't watch this. I quickly turn away and run to the bathroom.

I thought best friends were meant to be forever?
