The morning sunlight streamed through your bedroom window, but instead of filling you with warmth, it only served as a reminder of the heavy day ahead. You sat on the edge of your bed, hands clasped tightly in your lap, your thoughts swirling like a storm.
Yesterday's tension between Katsuki and Izuku still weighed heavily on you, but today was different. Today was supposed to be about hero work, or so you thought. Your pro hero parents had insisted on bringing you along to a meeting with Endeavour, the Number 2 Hero. They hadn't given you any real explanation, only saying it was "important for your future."
Despite the pit of unease growing in your stomach, you followed them without question. The car ride to the Todoroki estate was silent, save for the soft hum of the engine. You tried to calm your racing thoughts, but something about the day felt off.
The Todoroki residence was grand and imposing, its towering walls and immaculate decor radiating power and control. As you stepped inside, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. A maid led your family through the expansive hallways until you reached a large sitting room where Endeavour stood waiting.
His presence was as overwhelming as you'd expected. The flame-clad hero stood tall, his arms crossed, his gaze sharp and assessing. Beside him stood his son, Shoto Todoroki, his mismatched eyes briefly meeting yours before looking away. His calm, stoic demeanor betrayed nothing of what was to come.
After the initial formalities and discussions about hero work, Endeavour's voice cut through the room with a commanding authority that left no room for argument.
"Y/N," he said, his fiery gaze settling on you, "you will marry Shoto."
The words hit you like a thunderclap, leaving you momentarily stunned. Your heart pounded in your chest, and your mind raced to comprehend what he had just said.
"Marry?" you echoed, your voice barely audible.
"This arrangement will solidify the alliance between our families," Endeavour continued, his tone as cold and unyielding as steel. "It is what's best for both of us."
