Jeon Jungkook, a famous race driver, most famous in his time. He can get whatever and whoever he wants, or at least he thought.
Kim Seokjin, a volunteer to Epiphany...
Jin opted to ride alone and told his dad about it. So his dad, together with Jisoo and her mom, had to go to the gathering first before him. It's a usual family gathering held every year, like a reunion of the Kims and Jin has gotten used to the questions they would usually throw at him. The hardest part for him this year might be with Jungkook, also coming into the party.
It was very uncomfortable during the first year of the accident, the stares from their relatives making him feel vulnerable but his dad made it lighter for him. Still, he did not want to burden the old man with his challenges in life.
"We are here, Seokjin-ah. Do you need me to inform your father so that he can pick you up from here?" Mr. Kang asked, worried as well for Jin.
Jin shook his head. "I am sure that my father is pretty busy already. Let's not bother him more." He said as he pressed the button to open the van and looked at the hotel owned by his uncle. They usually do their gathering here, since they can stay overnight in all the rooms of the hotel in case the night had been tough considering the parties, alcohols and of course them bringing all their partners.
As the door opened for him, almost everyone looked at him. However, his eyes instantly met the one who did not want to see for that night.
Jungkook looked at him intently but was immediately distracted when Jisoo and her mom gave a comment about Jin.
"He always wants the spotlight." Jisoo said.
"He always wanted the attention because no one gives him that." Her mom said.
"I don't understand why you hate your brother that much." Jungkook said, unable to take the bad comments from his pseudo-girlfriend.
Jisoo rolled her eyes. "He's nothing. Let's not mind him anymore and let the night go to waste. There's a lot we can do tonight and the Kim's party is usually the best." Jisoo said and pulled Jungkook's arm to turn away from Jin's direction.
All their relatives started praising Jin seeing him healthier than before. Still, Jin is not comfortable with their attention.

Jin smiled at everyone and he hugged his father immediately when he saw him.
"I'm glad you are here." His father whispered.
"I am not happy but I have to." Jin whispered back and his father laughed at him.
"Anyway, I would like you to meet Yang Jeong-In. He's a friend to your cousin, Sunghoon." His father said as he introduced the man in front of them.
"Oh! You're the man in Sunghoon's pictures!" Jin easily recognized him because he was quite close to his cousin.
The man smiled at him, making his eyes also smile.
"I am glad that I make an impression to a handsome man like you." Jeong-In said as he bowed at Jin.
Jin blushed immediately by the compliment and Sunghoon also arrived by then.
