HAN YURI hunched over her notes, scribbling furious annotations as she struggled to keep up with the lesson. The school library's fluorescent lights hummed above, casting an unforgiving glare on her worn textbook. Her long straight black hair fell around her face, framing her intense focus.

Yuri's style was understated—a faded school sweater, worn jeans and scuffed sneakers. Her school life was a delicate balancing act. She navigated the crowded hallways of Seoul High with quiet efficiency, avoiding attention without being invisible.

In class, she sat near the back, diligently taking notes and participating sparingly. Her reserved nature led teachers to overlook her, but she preferred it that way.

During lunch, she often retreated to the library or an empty classroom, lost in books or her own thoughts. She had a small circle of acquaintances, but no close friends.

Her grades hovered between B+ and A-, a perfect middle ground to keep her parents satisfied. She didn't strive for excellence, content with meeting expectations—decent grades in core subjects, slightly better in Korean literature, and passable scores in math and science.

She avoided clubs, sports and extracurricular activities, fearing they'd draw attention or create unnecessary obligations.

As sunset painted the sky outside, Yuri's exhaustion deepened. Another day, another failed attempt to stay on top of her schoolwork.

Just as she packed her belongings, her phone buzzed.

1 new notification from Seoul High Connect

Yuri's eyes darted around, ensuring no one watched. She unlocked her phone, revealing the anonymous login screen.

With a few swift taps, Yuri navigated the moderation dashboard. Her alter ego, @/SHC_Moderator, managed Seoul High Connect, the school's online bulletin board.

In order to survive high school, her rules were simple: avoid drama, maintain decent grades, and keep a low profile. However, the school's online bulletin board, was her one exception.

As she scrolled through new posts, Yuri's expression softened. These anonymous confessions and stories reminded her she wasn't alone.

With a satisfied nod, Yuri logged out and slipped her phone into her pocket.

As she exited the library, the crisp evening air enveloped her. Yuri breathed deeply, letting go of her study-induced stress.

She walked around the school building, taking a shortcut through the dimly lit alleyway. The storehouse, once used for maintenance supplies, stood forgotten behind the school.

At first, Yuri walked past the storehouse, lost in thought. But the flickering light inside caught her attention.

Curiosity piqued, she quietly made her way back to the door. Her eyes adjusted to the soft lighting, and she froze.

Inside, Park Sunghoon, Kim Sunoo, and Park Jongseong, the notorious boys of her school, known for their charisma and mischief, lounged on worn couches, surrounded by stacks of old boxes and discarded furniture.

Yuri's instincts screamed to leave quietly, but her clumsiness betrayed her. As she turned to slip away, her foot knocked against a stack of books.

The books crashed to the floor, shattering the silence.

The trio's eyes snapped toward her direction.

"Who's there?" Sunghoon's deep voice commanded attention.

Startled, Yuri spun around and fled, dropping her planner in the chaos.

Sunghoon rose from the couch, his eyes narrowing as he watched Yuri vanish into the darkness.

"Looks like we had an uninvited guest." Sunghoon said, his tone laced with intrigue.

Sunoo and Jay exchanged amused glances.

As Sunghoon stepped forward, his friends watched with interest. He stooped to pick up the planner.

He opened the first page, and a sly smirk spread across his face.

"Han Yuri." He whispered, his eyes scanning the page.

The planner's contents, once private, now lay exposed. Sunghoon's gaze lingered on the scribbles, his mind already racing with possibilities.

Sunoo and Jay approached, curiosity etched on their faces.

"Trouble?" Sunoo asked.

Sunghoon's smirk deepened.

"Perhaps." He replied, eyes still fixed on the planner.

Jay chuckled.

"Looks like our hideout's secrets are no longer safe."

Sunghoon's gaze snapped up, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"And it seems our little ghost has a secret life of her own."

The darkness outside seemed to grow thicker, as if the night itself was listening.
