MAFIA'S OBSESSION

RESCUE

Yumin was at her work place at a cozy café. She worked there after university. She didn't actually needed money, But she worked there because it was her dream to work at aesthetic and cozy café.

"Good morning sir,What would you like to have?"
She said as she greeted the customer, Eyes glued to monitor to take the order.

"Iced Americano."
He said, his voice firm yet gentle.

"Ok sir, any room for cream?"
She said softly finally looking up at his face and she realised who it was.

"No."
He said as he stared directly into her eyes.

"Ok...Cash or card?"
She asked as she directly avoided his intense gaze on her.

"Card."
He said, slight smirk forming on his face.

"Ok sir, Here you go."
She handed him the card swipe machine and he slided his card.

"Thank you sir, Here is your bill."
She said while still looking down at monitor.

He smirked looking at her, all nervous and scared. He went to other counter to get his coffee.
He looked at her for the last time before leaving the café.

"What was that, Jungkook?"
Taehyung asked as he was sitting in his car waiting for Jungkook to come.

"Nothing."
Jungkook tried to shrug it off.

"Oh I see."
Taehyung looked at him for the last time as the driver drove away.

AT EVENING

Yumin left the cafe as her shift was over. But she had to attend her friend's birthday party. So she went home and quickly got ready. She wore an elegant red bodycon dress that showed off her figure.

She was just looking at her dress, smoothing out imaginary wrinkles on her dress. When suddenly, honking voice came. She knew who it was. She locked her house and went towards the car as she opened the door to get in.

"You look stunning babe."
Yuna said excitedly as she smiled warmingly.

"Thanks, you also look pretty."
She gave her a genuine smile.

They drove off to the party venue. As they arrived, They entered the venue. They approached birthday girl.

"Happy Birthday Lia, You look gorgeous."
Yumin said as she gave Lia a side hug and a warm smile.

"Thank you so much."
Lia smiled.

Yuna greeted too, and they shared talks, and gifted Lia.

"You guys enjoy, I will see you later ok?"
Lia asked yuna and yumin.

"Yeah sure."
They shared smile as Lia left.

Later that evening, The party came to an end.

"Let's go, Yumin."
Yuna said looking at her.

"Yuna, It's late you can go home. I'll go by myself."
Yumin said while assuring her that she can go by herself.

"Really? Are you sure?"
Yuna asked clarification. Yumin nodded and smiled and gave her a hug before leaving the Venue.

She took a bus to her town. Than as she reached the bus stop she thought of taking short cut that was a dark ally. As she was going she spotted a group of boys at the street-side bench. They were drunk and not in their right mind. She quickened her pace.

"Heyy beautiful lady, Do you need help?"
One of the boy said from the group and others laughed.

She didn't look behind but as she was walking someone grabbed her arm stopping her from going.

"Leave my hand, Or I'll call the cops."
She said as her hand trembled but she managed to show courage.

"Oh no, Young lady, You can't do that."
He said while smirking and he came closer. He cupped her face with his hand but just as he was about to touch her lips, A car came in view. It's light flashing across the dark ally.

A tall muscular man emerged from the car as he lit up his cigarette and started to come closer to the group of boys.
"Leave her."
He demanded, leaving no room for argument.

"You stay out of our business."
One of the boy of the group said with confidence.

"I said leave her or I'll fucking break your hands."
Jungkook warned as he glared at the man, smoking in relaxed position.

"Listen Man, Go away It's none of your business."
He said while he tightened his grip on Yumin's arm.

Jungkook didn't said anything, He threw his cigarette on the ground, Stamping it out as he came closer to the boy who was holding Yumin.
He landed a hard punch on the boy, That he stumbled backwards.

Another boy of that group tried to punch him but he dodged it easily and kicked him that he fell on the floor. And again another guy tried to attack him but jungkook was fast and he gripped his arm twisting it.

Yumin stood there, Her eyes widened as she watched the whole scene. She thought of stopping him but he was too involved in that so she got scared.

Jungkook went to the guy who had gripped Yumin's arm, he took his left hand from which he touched Yumin's Arm and took out a knife from his pockets and stabbed it.

"S..Stop it"
Yumin cried out, Trying to stop him because she couldn't bear the scene.

Jungkook didn't care enough and he kept stabbing his hand. He was so lost in his world. He could barely hear Yumin cry. At that point Only one thing lingered in his mind,
How dare he touch what's mine!

"Please stop"
Yumin held Jungkook's hand to slow him down.

Jungkook finally backed away, Yumin took the knife from his hand and threw it away, not wanting him to stab someone else.

"Are you alright?"
Yumin said, Worry was visible on her face.

"Come, I'll drop you, It's not safe here."
Jungkook said in a cold tone as he glanced towards her.

"Thank you so much."
Yumin said as she tried to put on a smile, But he didn't look at her but just held her arm and dragged her towards the car.

Few moments later, They arrived Yumin's home but there was one thing that made Yumin curious. He didn't even ask her address but dropped her at her home. But she didn't ask Questions at that moment.

"Thank you so much, Sir."
Yumin said while getting out of the car

He got out of the car and came closer to her.
"Don't roam around in late night it's not safe."

"Y..Yes, Sir"
She said as he bowed to him politely and left.

Jungkook stared at her until her figure wasn't wasn't visible. And he smirked, and sat in the car.
