Rewritten Destiny

Chapter 3: Warning

As everyone went outside, they all look up to the sky and was appalled by what they saw. There was a huge portal coming out on the clouds. It was like the first portal that had emerge a decade ago but It was much larger.

"No, It's happening again." Vice chairwoman Cordelia Monroe said in a horrific expression.

"It's like what happened a decade ago." Azalea Ashford said.

"It's enormous. It's much larger than what had emerge 10 years ago." Caelus Bardot replied.

As they were looking intensely in the sky, creatures came out on the portal. Not just any creatures, they were new type of creatures. A type of creature no one can ever imagine. The mages had no choice but to face them.

"LOOK! Something came out in the portal." One of the mages said.

"What's that???" Everyone looked horrified including the higher ups.

"What kind of a creature is that?" Lia said.

"They look nothing like the other creatures that we've fought. They looked more terrific." Luke replied.

"Everyone!!! we need to kill every single one of them. I don't know but it looks bad. We needed to finish them of before they multiply even more." The Chairman said.

They all attacked the creatures that went outside the portal. They were able to kill a lot of them but some where starting to emerge through the dungeons.

"This is bad!!! we can't let them get inside the dungeons or they will multiply even more." Alexandra said.

"They're strong. If I have to rank up their strength they would be at an Extreme Stage." Lia replied.

"Some already emerge through the dungeons, there's nothing we can do now. Let's just finish the others." Wyatt said.

They were able to kill a lot of them but some had already emerge through the dungeons. As everything was already clear, the portal did not close. The mages were wondering what was happening. Some of the mages attacks the portal but they were not able to handle it's gravity. After a few minutes, the higher ups were about to attack the portal but then there were 3 men in a cloak step outside the portal. One at the center and two were on the opposite side. Alexandra was shocked with their appearance.

"It's them," Alexandra said in a horrific manner.

As Alexandra was about to react the man in the center spoke.

"Welcome folks! What a wonderful night it is. I can't believe I would see you all gather here. Mages across the world are here. What a nice and splendid surprise."

*evil laugh* It's such an honor to be stared at by thousands of mages. *evil laugh*"

"Who are you?" The Chairman asked.

"I believe were not on friendly terms to exchange info and pleasantries. But it would be a shame if you guys don't know me. I am AlMon, the creator of this portal. We are the The Caliber of Abyss, and I am their master. I'm here to tell the declaration of war. I think It's time for us to reign in this world." AlMon said.

"then why are you holding back?" Wyatt said.

"well I realized it won't be fun if I do it now. I want you all to be aware."

"then your being a coward." Wyatt was about to attack AlMon but they suddenly disappeared leaving a mist from the sky.

When AlMon the leader of The Caliber of Abyss disappear so as the portal disappeared through the clouds. Everyone was worried about what just happened. The outside of the venue became crowded and everyone was noisy. They can't help but think what had AlMon had said to them.

"Mages!, I want everyone to calm down. As what you had all witnessed, I know you had a lot of questions, but let us not be scared of what those people said. We are mages. This had happened a decade ago. Not just once but twice. We were able to stop the battle when there was just a few of us and a lot were killed , I know we can do it, now there's thousands of us, and we can do a lot more. Let us rest for now. I know everyone's tired. Tomorrow I will announce a meeting in the Federation before you all go back from your homes. For now let us call this a day and let's discuss this all tomorrow." Chairman Barlowe said.

The mages where somehow relieved from what had the Chairman said. The foreign mages started to go to their respective hotels. All the mages left except for the chairman, vice chairman, ceo, vice president and the newly appointed officials.

"I didn't know they were people behind those portal. I wasn't expecting this." Chairman Barlowe said.

"I'm wondering who are those peoples. How could they create such thing that can affect the existence of mankind." Vice Chairwomen said.

"We can't let them reign this world. Too much people may die.." Alexandra said.

"We need to make a move quick. We never know when will they show up again. What if they show up again tomorrow. Who knows maybe tomorrow will be the last day." Lia said.

"I don't think I'll get a wink of sleep tonight." Luke said.

"What should we do?" Wyatt said.

"We'll do what we can do for humanity to survive. For now let us rest but let us stay alert." Chairman Barlowe said.

"Alexandra, you go home first. Check your grandma if she's doing well. I'll help the Chairman sign a few papers in the Federation and hand it to the government." Cordelia said.

"Sure." Alexandra replied.

When the four chosen leave them and head to the Federation, Wyatt was about to ask Alexandra about her kidnapped incident she suddenly leaves and head home first.

"Uhmm Lex-"

"I'm going home now guys. Have a good night." Alexandra replied.

"Kay, take care on your way home." Lia said.

Wyatt was so desperate to know about Alexandra's kidnapped incident but he was not able to ask her. The others went on their home too. When Alexandra return home, she saw her grandma sleeping. She was happy to see her doing well. She did not wake her grandma since she was already asleep. She just kissed her grandma on it's forehead.

All night long, Alexandra was not able to sleep. She can't help but think about the kidnapped incident and the people who were behind the portal. She was so sure those were the people who kidnapped her. On Wyatt side, he was not able to get a wink of sleep thinking about what happened to Alexandra when she was kidnapped.
