The bell rung, making the halls immediately fill with students, the loud chattering and laughing.
Mingi walked out of lesson, a proud smile on his face. Another day of troublemaking, done.
Song Mingi is the school's popular boy and trouble maker, he is like the most misbehaved. You'd be considered veryyy lucky if he was ever nice to you, or even gave you any sort of attention for that matter.
It was lunch, he went to his usual hangout spot, the basketball courts. He sat at the bench with his friends, opening his bottle and taking a sip of water. Students have recently been talking about a new teacher that's joining tomorrow. But Mingi has been paying no attention to it.
"Yo bro." Wooyoung says to Mingi as they fist bump.
Suddenly San came out of nowhere, wrapping his arm around Wooyoung's shoulder, slightly startling the latter.
"Ah, oh, hey Sannie." Wooyoung smiled, seeing his boyfriend, Choi San, and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.
"Hey Woo, Hey Mingi." San said. Mingi looked up from his phone and smiled, putting his phone away.
"Hey guys." Mingi answered.
Suddenly Seonghwa took a seat beside Mingi. His crush, Kim Hongjoong, was sitting on the bench, his feet on the seats of the bench, and boredly scrolling through social media on his phone.
"Have you guys heard about the new teacher who's joining tomorrow?" Yeosang asked, standing behind his best mate Seonghwa and eating an ice cream. Eating an ice cream in November. I mean, it's ice cream, so it's understandable to be eating it, even in cold weather.
Mingi heard about the new teacher. He could not care less. He hates all the teachers. At least it's an extra teacher to piss off, he thought.
"Isn't he like the new English teacher?" Wooyoung questioned.
"Think so." Yeosang shrugged.
Mingi stood up, zipping his small plastic water bottle back in his bag.
"I'm gonna play some basketball. Who wanna join?" Mingi questioned as he picked up the basketball and made his way to the middle of the court.
San kissed Wooyoung's forehead, before he stood up to join Mingi. Hongjoong finally looked up from his phone, he put it away and got up to also join them. Seonghwa's eyes on him the whole entire time.
Yeosang took Mingi's seat beside Seonghwa.
"So, ya think the new teacher will be nice or nah?"
