⚜ Chapter 6 ⚜

[Arohi in the fourth and a half month]

Arohi was sitting in her room while reading some books about motherhood, she was feeling very excited because today she will know the gender of the baby, in fact she was not paying attention to the book in her hand her attention was all on imagining how her baby will look like today. 

In the midst of all this, Abhimanyu stormed into the room. 

"Arohi"

Abhimanyu had a look of anger on his face. 

"What's wrong? Why did you come in like this? You scared me." Arohi shouted at Abhimanyu while holding her stomach.

Abhimanyu looked at Aarohi who was caressing her stomach, and breathed in an attempt to calm down and quell the anger boiling inside him. 

"Can you tell me what you are doing?" Abhimanyu came closer to Arohi as he spoke. 

Arohi, who was confused by his closeness to her, did not understand what he was talking about. "What did I do?!"

Abhimanyu sighed , "Why didn't you tell me that today is the gender reveal day?"

"That's because...." Abhimanyu interrupted Arohi's speech  .

"I know I'm not someone who deserves your trust, but I promised you that I will take care of the child and support you always, so don't I deserve a small chance?"

Arohi sighed in annoyance , "Do you have a problem listening to others? It's just that I forgot to tell you yesterday, so I sent you a message telling you about the appointment today."

Abhimanyu froze for a few seconds then looked at his phone and found the message was really as Arohi had told him so he smiled as he looked at the message that appeared on his phone screen

Arohi sat on the chair as she continued reading and muttered in a low voice , "Abhimanyu is the king of drama, don't you think this title suits him better, my child?"

While Arohi was talking to her child, Abhimanyu leaned down and kissed Arohi's cheek, which prompted her to reply that she had not tried to keep him away from the child's affairs, but Arohi, who was frozen by this initiative, could not understand anything.

Then he whispered in her ear , "I'll come pick you up at 5pm, okay?"

Abhimanyu was looking at Arohi waiting for an answer, after a long wait Arohi nodded slowly who was still in her own world 

When Abhimanyu got his answer he leaned down and kissed Aru's belly while whispering to the child in a voice that only he could hear, "I'm dying to know who you are but whether you're a boy or a girl I promise I'll love you very much."

Abhimanyu went after getting a call from Rohan to return to the hospital. 

As tears filled her eyes from the words he said to her child, a smile was drawn on her face from the warmth of these words as she caressed her belly.

Abhimanyu went at 5 and took Arohi from the house and went to the hospital and when they were about to enter Dr. Avani's room, Arohi held Abhimanyu's arm to stop him. Abhimanyu looked at her and noticed her shaking hand so he stood beside her again. 

"Arohi are you okay?" Abhimanyu whispered to Arohi. 

Arohi nodded, "I'm fine but a little nervous."

Abhimanyu sighed and held her hand in an attempt to support her, "Don't think about anything, just enjoy this wonderful moment, so are you ready?"
